Captain Sweden’s Hitlist

ulf-karlssonThe Swedish Institute has acknowledged me as a far right extremist “dedicated to hate against migrants, women, LGBTQ people, and human rights organizations.”

I am in the company of 14,392 other Swedish and “international” accounts that have a “high extremism and/or Neo-Nazi orientation” and threaten violence.

The Swedish Institute is most famous for running the @sweden Twitter account. Every week, a random Swede is selected to take over the account and offer their profound thoughts to the world.

Now to be sure, this is pretty insignificant; only when I acquire a RationalWiki hagiography ala JayMan and get on Ukraine’s Peacekeeper list of Russian terrorists will I consider myself to have actualized my potential. Still, the gesture is appreciated – your next cuckshed upgrade is on me, Ulfie.

You can access the text of the full list here and search for individual handles here. It is current as of May 10, 2017.

Maybe they’ve mistaken the “88” in your handle for the Nazi code for “Heil Hitler”…I actually considered that a possibility once (sorry, was before I had read much of your output), but then realized it probably referred to your year of birth.
Swedish institute…is that some government agency? Seems like it…interesting.

I’m quite irritated by one entry on that list…I once met a guy of that name…his Twitter account is totally inoffensive.

Weird…can that be merely a coincidence? Or is it that easy to get on that list?

  3. Yes, that’s right, @akarlin was already occupied.

(I am in an invisible war for SEO preeminence with one other A. Karlin on the Internet. I lost out on Facebook and Twitter, but snapped up all the domain names).

Or even ala Steve Sailer wouldn’t be so bad:

Steve Sailer (born 1958) is a racist, misogynist, white supremacist, anti-Semite, Islamophobe, homophobe, classist, ableist, transphobe, transmisogynist, xenophobe, pseudo-scientist and all-round champion dickhead who can arguably be credited—if such a resumé can be to someone’s credit—as the godfather of pseudo-scientific online hate. If it’s foul, fetid and attempts to give itself a biological and/or intellectual veneer, then Sailer will have had a hand in it somewhere, trust us.

What is a transmisogynist? If it’s something not covered by being a regular transphobe or misogynist?

    From Wikipedia:

Transmisogyny (sometimes trans-misogyny) is the intersection of transphobia and misogyny . . . transmisogyny includes negative attitudes, hate, and discrminination of transgender or transsexual individuals who fall on the feminine side of the gender spectrum.

    Any further questions?

  10. transgender or transsexual individuals who fall on the feminine side of the gender spectrum

What does that even mean? Is it Bruce Jenner, or the woman who gave birth last year and who was declared to be the “a man who gave birth”? Or both?

From Transmisogyny 101: What It Is and What Can We Do About It

    http://everydayfeminism.com/2014/01/transmisogyny/

This word describes so much of what we see in the cultural and systemic treatment of trans women in our culture and ties in so clearly with feminism, and yet it’s not a word that many people know about or understand.

I think we can agree with the last statement.

Transmisogyny targets transgender and transsexual women – people who were assigned male at birth, but who identify as women.

But transgender women are not the only people who experience transmisogyny.

Trans and gender non-conforming people who do not necessarily identify as women, but who present feminine characteristics and/or identify along the feminine end of the gender spectrum are also on the receiving end of transmisogyny.

Transmisogyny is all about the hatred of the feminine, and it is not limited toward only those who identify as women. It includes transfeminine and feminine-identified genderqueer people, as well as many others who are feminine-of-center but were not assigned female at birth.

So for the purpose of simplicity and brevity in this article, I will use the term trans women to refer to all people victimized by transmigogyny.

    Got it?

  16. Mr. Hack says

The Swedish Institute has acknowledged me as a far right extremist “dedicated to hate against migrants, women, LGBTQ people, and human rights organizations.”

I am in the company of 14,392 other Swedish and “international” accounts that have a “high extremism and/or Neo-Nazi orientation” and threaten violence.

Did they get something wrong? I’ve only been following your blog for several months now, and have not been able to totally assess all of your various stances, but so far I’d say that it’s fair to say that you generally oppose immigration, at least in Russia. I’ve also tried on several occasions to call you out and have you explain in more detail just how committed you really are to the concept of ‘triunism’ and find out just how far you lean in your adherence to this long outmoded way of thinking? Would you go as far as to advocate ‘violence’ in your quest to see the triune project bear fruition?

  17. Daniel Chieh says

Is opposition to immigration now a hate crime? Is nationalism a hate crime?

If I favor America’s conquest of Canada, am I a hate criminal?

  18. Mr. Hack says

In and of themselves, no, I don’t think so. Taken to an extreme though, acts committed in support of these concepts, can be justly perceived to be so. That’s why I persist in trying to get Karlin to reveal the true nature of his Russian nationalism, especially vis-a-vis Ukraine and his stated preference of ‘triunism’. So far, he’s remained silent as a church mouse on the subject, except stating that he’s an advocate of ‘triunism’.

  19. Daniel Chieh says

And then certainly all Muslims are hate criminals, because “taken to extreme”, they have committed enormous terrorist acts. And such, its ridiculous to have an enemy institution blissfully choose to interpret any loose concepts into definitions of evil, and then trust their efforts to malign any wrongthink.

  20. Is opposition to immigration now a hate crime? Is nationalism a hate crime?

It is a thought-crime for sure.

  21. Mr. Hack says

I don’t think so. I don’t think that ‘all Muslims.. have committed enormous terrorist acts.’ My immediate question is directed towards Mr.Karlin to see just how far his ‘hate’ of the Ukrainian nation extends, and whether he’s ready to countenance any violence or military actions against Ukraine, to force it to become a part of his fantastic notions of a ‘Triune nation’?…This is the kind of fare that Russian fanatical nationalists of the 19th century were advocating.

  22. Daniel Chieh says

Even if he does, it doesn’t make him a hate criminal. If I feel that military annexation of Canada is for the best interest of all involved, it doesn’t mean that I am somehow an unusual and terrible being. I’m someone with an opinion that military force may be justified in an expansive act.

This does not magically make me into a Neo-Nazi.

  23. Mr. Hack says

    Why annex Canada?

  24. Daniel Chieh says

Why invite when you can invade? 😛

The point is that it doesn’t make me a hate criminal, if for some reason, I believe in such.

  25. Mr. Hack says

Brilliant! ‘Annexing Canada’ sounds about as smart as ‘regathering of the lands’ inherent within Triunism.
Hitler tried to ‘regather’ the Sudetenalnd, and we all know how that ended up.

  26. German_reader says

Hitler tried to ‘regather’ the Sudetenalnd, and we all know how that ended up.

Well, if he had stopped there, it wouldn’t have been that bad.
Anyway, I doubt AK got on that list by the Swedish institute because of his stance on the Ukraine issue…it’s probably more because of his “racist” positions on IQ distributions, Islam, immigration etc.

  27. Had Hitler stopped there, I think he’d still be worshipped as one of the greatest Germans of all time, Reichskristallnacht notwithstanding.

I think the Germans’ justified demands included the 12/31/1938 borders, Memel, and Danzig. (The corridor was in my opinion not justified. Tough luck that they had conquered and settled East Prussia without properly settling West Prussia, too.) These were ethnically German.

  28. SteveRogers42 says

Report to Mr. O’Brien in Room 101 immediately.

  29. Mr. Hack says

You’re right, Karlin probably did not end up on the Swedish list for his stance on Ukrainian issues, but since the general topic of ‘hate issues & Karlin’ has come up, his ‘triunism’ stance towards Ukraine smacks of ugly old Ukrainophobic sentiment. He must find it to be a hard sell and is embarrassed or unsure of himself on this one…

  30. German_reader says

Yes, and the demands you mention would probably have been taken up by more “normal” German nationalists as well (even if they wouldn’t have employed Hitler’s gangster-like methods), they were not unreasonable in itself…and that’s of course why people like Chamberlain (who probably wasn’t as foolish as he’s presented today) thought they could accommodate Hitler. It was only with the destruction of Czechoslovakia in March 1939 and the annexation of Czech lands that it became obvious Hitler’s ambitions were much more extreme.

  31. Mr. Hack says

the demands you mention would probably have been taken up by more “normal” German nationalists as well (even if they wouldn’t have employed Hitler’s gangster-like methods),

So, the lesson to be learned from Hitler’s bad Sudetenland example is to be weary of any ‘gangster-like methods’ of any aggressive plays by one neighbor over lands held by another. I feel confident that had a real, legal referendum been held in Crimea, cessation would have won out – alas now, we’ll never know for sure, for Putin took his plays right out of the Sudetenland playbook. BTW, Crimea and now Donbas are the first two chapters in Putin’s own ‘Triune’ program. I’m just curious as to how far Karlin is on board with this program and if he’s willing to advocate its spread to other parts of Ukraine?….He must be busy recalculating the recent French vote? 🙂

  32. What about a person who becomes a misanthrope when taking public transit? Is there a name for people like us?

  33. I made the list even though I’m really small potatoes compared to the superstars of hate like Richard Spencer. It must have been my use of the frog emoji on Twitter.

  34. I disagree. I’ve been quite clear on my views. I understand you want specifics, but specifics depend on, well, the specifics of the situation. As far as the optimal course of action is concerned, 2013 is not 2014, which is not 2017.

    But just to clarify:

    (1) Ukraine is a fake country that should be dismantled.

    (2) I oppose any military aggression except in cases where (1) intervention has overwhelming support in the target areas and/or (2) Russians are being killed or severely oppressed.

PS. I am in fact quite certain my inclusion on that list has nothing to do with Ukraine. Mikael Skillt, a bona fide Neo-Nazi who is a volunteer with Azov, is on it as well.

  36. Isn’t “Andrea Ostrov” our Priss Factor?

  37. Mr. Hack says

    (1) Ukraine is a fake country that should be dismantled.

Total nonsense. Ukraine has all the attributes needed to be considered a state in the world today:a unique history, a separate language, a shared memory of its own customs and music and has spilled blood in defense of its right to exist as an independent country several times within the 20th century (and earlier too). Trying to deny its right to statehood is regressive and points to your own lack of knowledge regarding Ukraine and Ukrainians. I think that it’s time to take a long hard look at the photos that I’ve posted here before, showing the great outpouring of support for the idea of a Ukrainian nation in 1919. Remember, a picture is worth a thousand words (no photoshop involved, take a long look specifically at photos 1 and 10 in addition to all of the rest, all shot in Kyiv). Then take a look at of the videos and photos shot in Kyiv on the Maidan during 2014. Certainly you can’t be serious spouting off such nonsensical viewpoints after viewing the evidence, all to the contrary? http://www.istpravda.com.ua/artefacts/2011/01/22/17352/#9

It’s way too late to turn back the clock, Anatoly!

  38. BTW, Crimea and now Donbas are the first two chapters in Putin’s own ‘Triune’ program

Dobass – no. Putin is making great efforts to return Dobass in Ukraine. However likely his efforts will fail, and Kiev nationalists (with their trade blockade https://www.ft.com/content/276f3fd8-098c-11e7-ac5a-903b21361b43) will make Donbass a part of Russia

  39. My immediate question is directed towards Mr.Karlin to see just how far his ‘hate’ of the Ukrainian nation extends, and whether he’s ready to countenance any violence or military actions against Ukraine, to force it to become a part of his fantastic notions of a ‘Triune nation’?

The Triune Nation idea is not hatred of the Ukrainian Nation but hatred of the Ukrainian national idea. These are not the same. Nazis hated Slavs and Jews. Serbs and Croats have hated each other. Etc. People with Karlin’s idea consider the Ukrainian people to be a Rus people just like themselves. As such, they are willing to help their people and to destroy their people’s enemies.

I don’t know how historically accurate Karlin’s idea is. The original Little Russianism was a Triune ideology that posited that Little Russians and Great Russians were both Rus people whose cultures were equal manifestations of Rus culture. That is, the Little Russian language was the equal of the Great Russian language and that the Rus people of Little Russia would speak and attend schools in the Little Russian language just as the Rus people of Great Russia would in the Great Russian language. Both Rus peoples were to be united against external enemies, such as Poles and Jews, Kiev was the Rus Jerusalem while Moscow was its Rome. For a brief time, “Little Russian” Russian nationalists may have been as significant in the overall Russian nationalist movement as were Great Russian nationalists (Russian nationalism was more advanced in Little Russia due to having access to Polish nationalists).

When I lived in Moscow I once met some obscure Rus nationalist leader. He was very nice and respectful to me despite my open Ukrainian self-identification, I suspect he had never met a descendant of Rurik before and this was important to him. He was trying to convince me that “Russia” and “Ukraine” are both fake inventions created by Jews and Poles to divide the one Rus people. He was bitter about not being able to label his nationality as “Rus” on his passport, and being forced to instead use the “fake” Russian nationality.

  40. Mr. Hack says

The original Little Russianism was a Triune ideology that posited that Little Russians and Great Russians were both Rus people whose cultures were equal manifestations of Rus culture.

The problem with this ideology is that it is based on a false premise that there was at one time someting like a ‘Rus people’, when in actuality there was a loose amalgamation of principalities inhabited by Slavs, Finns, and leftover Kipchak and other steppe nomads etc; (see Origins of Slavic Peoples,by Plokhy). Therefore, any attempts to ‘regather’ these tribes under the rubric of ‘triunism’ is just plain nonsense. I’m surprised that I have to explain this to you,of all people?

I’m equally dismayed that you’re letting Karlin get away with making a prejudicial statement such as this:

    (1) Ukraine is a fake country that should be dismantled.

I expected a more vigorous response from somebody of your background.

  41. The problem with this ideology is that it is based on a false premise that there was at one time someting like a ‘Rus people’, when in actuality there was a loose amalgamation of principalities inhabited by Slavs, Finns, and leftover Kipchak and other steppe nomads et

Correct. I had recently written something like that.

I was explaining this idea and pointing out how it did not involve hatred towards the Ukrainian nation; I was not defending it though insofar as it recognizes that Ukrainians/Little Russians are their own people with their own language and culture it was not unrealistic with respect to the contemporary situation – unlike the idea of Ukrainians actually being a form of Great Russians who ought primarily speak the Great Russian language.

That the Little Russian/Triune Nation idea involves myths about the nature of a state that had disappeared centuries earlier is another matter.

    (1) Ukraine is a fake country that should be dismantled.

I expected a more vigorous response from somebody of your background.

I’ve discussed this many times before already, I didn’t feel like policing Karlin’s posts about it. Ukrainian as a modern national identity is as fake, or not fake, as Russian modern national identity.

  42. Congrats for this small achievement. I must agree with the commenter above: one of the reasons might have been 88. But otherwise your twitter does not seem to be very “1488” at all. Or may be they had read some of your post here about “Swede-cucks” and were triggered? Anyway.

only when I acquire a RationalWiki hagiography

As I understand it RW is dominated by Americans, and considering you do not write much about American issues, such as African Americans, POC, Mexicans, Israel, immigration, LGBT, etc., you seem not to have triggered them and it is unlikely you will. And even your HBD writings are not very well-known and original to be noticed by them. But keep trying.

get on Ukraine’s Peacekeeper list of Russian terrorists

They are too dumb to know English, so they are simply not aware of your existence. Even if some of them stumble upon your blog, you are most likely be ignored as they know ordinary Ukrainians as well cannot read English, and hence you are not a threat to their ideological dominance. But even among your commentariat I only have met two supposedly Ukrainians, and one of them is, in fact, a dumb American. Oh, I nearly forgot about our Ukrainophile Welshmen. Your only hope is to be more active in the Russian web. Or, well, go to the Crimea or LDNR and brag all about that. Though I’d advice you to go to Ukraine first, as I remember you wanted to visit Kiev and Odessa as well.

  43. By the way, the obsession of this guy with you is really hilarious. You have triggered him so much with your position about Ukraine that he cannot stop. I wonder what this guy wants from you. Does he want that you reject your triune heresy and embrace Ukrainian nationalism? Or is he a soldier of the official Ukrainian “Internet Army” (aka “i-army.org”) on a mission or something? In any case so dumb and pathetic.

  44. Ukraine is a fake country that should be dismantled.

And, Anatoly, I once asked you about the idea that the difference between Russians and Ukrainians may be also genetic. You seem not to have noticed it. What do you think? Could it be that their idiocy is heritable and incurable? I hate to do this but since 2014 I tend to think exactly this. Does Russia really need such an allegedly degenerative human material? At least the idea to share the same citizenship with millions of those Ukrainian idiots frightens me.

And indeed how far are you dedicated to your idea about the triune nation? Could you go so far that to call “Mr. Hack” a brother? Literally, could you address him “my dear Russian brother”?

P.S. Though after some considerations it seems to be a good way of trolling. Like “My dear Russian brother, who lives in the temporary occupied territories of Little Russia, I know you’ve been brainwashed and you suffer severely from your mental Ukrainian illness, but let me explain why you are wrong”, etc.

  51. What is that burbling noise? Is it you speaking to me? But WAS I speaking to you?

Of course, it is not you who was triggered by AK’s stance on Ukraine and started bombarding him (and others here) with dozens of your silly pathetic Ukrainian propaganda comments begging him either to clarify his “triune heresy” (what is there to clarify, that you Ukrops are a degenerative imbecile bunch?), or denounce it altogether. No, it was somebody else. Ah, yes, psychological projection. So typical for Ukrainians.

  52. My long-standing estimate of Ukrainian IQ based on regional historical literacy rates, performance on some TIMMS tests relative to Russia, and some other factors is that it is somewhere between Poland/Russia (high 90s) and the Balkans (90), so around 93-95. I also suspec there is an east-west gradiant in IQ (generally higher in the east), though with some exceptions, of course (Kiev is obviously a cognitive cluster, as is Lvov, to a lesser extent).

AP thinks its in the high 90s.

We’ll know far more at the end of 2019, because Ukraine (and Belarus) are going to be participating in PISA for the first time in 2018: http://www.oecd.org/pisa/aboutpisa/pisa-2018-participants.htm

Even if average Ukrainian IQ is in the low to mid 90s, there are still many Great Russian regions with similar figures (e.g. the Kuban). Besides, it’s not like a 5 point difference is all that significant, anyway.

    Yes, that’s about right.

  53. Cool! I thought only China did this kind of monitoring and only on their own citizens!

Western Ukraine would likely have very disparate IQs.

By 1910 Galicia had achieved 59% literacy, higher than that of educated Russian regions such as Tver, probably only a little bit behind St. Petersburg region (69% literacy in 1917, so in 1910 it could have been in the low 60s)

However, in 1910 Transcarpathia (part of Hungary) only had 20% literacy, placing it below that of any ethnic Russian region of the Russian Empire, barely above Kalmyk levels.

Volynia (part of Russia) 1917 was at 40%, the low end of Russian regions.

Literacy data for different western Ukraine regions are here

So Transcarpthia might have the lowest IQ in Ukraine, while Galicia might have the highest, outside the Kiev cognitive bubble. Both regions are in Western Ukraine.

In addition to Kiev, Lviv and Kharkiv cities would also be bubbles.

Lynn estimated Ukraine’s IQ at 97. Someone posted a list of studies, one showed 96 for Ukraine.

I’d guess Ukraine’s overall IQ to be in the same ballpark as that of lower regions of Russia and Poland, around 95.

  55. I must have expected that you start to speak about IQ. Do in your world exist any arguments other than IQ and the Hajnal line? I understand everything in this world can be explained by IQ, even the things that can’t, like Russophobia. But how does the ability to solve rebuses and puzzles correlate with ethnic mentality? How could 5 points of IQ up or down explain why the Ukrainians do what they do? How could you explain the liability of Ukrainians to Ukrainian nationalism, or their wild Russophobia, or their other numerous idiocies which are too much to name? I assume there cannot be the brainwashing only responsible, but some genetic selection for several centuries may be in place, which, of course, cannot be measured by IQ. Neither by the haplogroups much of which Ukrainians and Russians share. But there had to be something, hasn’t it? Of course, in case when or if HBD really matters and underlies ethnic mentality.

In any way I think you are somewhat over-positive toward Ukraine. You seem to have not enough personal experience/interaction with Ukraine and Ukrainians, I assume for your treatment you may take reading things like peremogi.livejournal.com once a day. Or you may find any other places/communities where you can really test your theory about the importance of IQ and speak with Ukrainians, though mostly such places are toxic. I myself communicated with them quite a lot long before 2014 and already then I developed some skepticism, mistrust and disgust to them, but I naively believed it must be only a tiny minority who are idiots, but after 2014 I have lost any hopes.

  56. What has IQ to do with literacy? The more I read about IQ this, IQ that, IQ everything, the more I’m inclined to believe that the whole craze about IQ, HBD and all that BS is a crystal clear pseudoscience.
