Apparently, pointing out that those bastions of the Alt Right International… such as England, France, and Germany – pointing out that even their representatives think asking questions like “do you respect the values of people from different cultures?” on international standardized cognitive tests might be taking things a bit too far – serves the Kremlin’s propaganda narrative.
Now as it happens, the comments to that article by Samuel Gdovin are predictably outraged by these ideas, so far as I can tell via Google Translate at any rate.

Reminds me: I heard a woman blame Russia for Trump today. It’s pretty shocking when you hear it in person. At first, I thought she was joking. She said “social media.”
How do you impose a soacially conservative government without the younger people revolting against you? Say you ban Netflix, 90 percent of modern Hollywood movies, you ban Tinder, Grindr, Pornhub, what are you going to do if you get Tiannanmen square in your capital in the age of 4g internet? So you call on the police and the call in the tanks to crush the youth revolt by force just like in Beijing in 1989, so you get Kent State times 1000, you people know how bad the optics of Kent State looked? What do you poeple think that optics of this is going to look like, when you have apparently peaceful teens and young adults being fired upon by canister shot and live ammunition?
I mean the reason why the younger Eastern Europeans revolted against communism was not really because of economic issues alone. But how stifling and socially conservative they are right? So how do you expect socially conservative governments to survive by popular consent given that they will try impose of culture the same socially conservative rules as the failed Communist regimes?
Screw the optics, I’m going in.

The universities have always been neglected by conservatives, Kevin MacDonald’s point was a lot of the far left stuff that burst in to public consciousness in the sixties was ensconced in the university system by the twenties and thirties.
Arguably, you simply can’t. Imposing anything on anyone, especially in the day of mass connectivity, does not yield much in the way of results – unless you’re China.
If you want to develop a more ‘conservative’ society you’ve got to accept that it’ll be a slow and laborious process that will involve compromising your own morality on much policy.
I’m sceptical of the use of banning anything in an age where people are so tech savvy, but if you do, you pick the few worst culprits eg. pornhub, rather than taking out the degenerate sites/apps en masse.
The key really revolves around the national identity you’re building. In the schools, in your news media, in your own arts & culture. And naturally convincing people that your ‘conservative’ system works better by making your country run better. You’ve got to make it cool to be conservative (but that’ll never happen, so you’ll need to hide it within another ideology, eg. swpl nationalism).
You have it completely the wrong way round, the ones that are doing the censoring are the progressives. They are the ones that are pushing to get ever more ideas to be removed from public discourse, what you need to do is get the message out that non whites overrunning Europe and that in no way will this bring any good to the future white generations.
FYI, the term slniečkár was invented by the Czechs to describe the Prager intelligentsia but was quickly adopted by Slovaks to a very successful and potent campaign against the native analog. They are literally powerless against it. They tried to use the term as a shield, wear it proud, but really, that made them look only more stupid. As for the clowns such as Izak setting some cultural agendas, I can confidently say that’s never going to happen. These people, around SSPI but slnieckari in general, are a literal joke here. Nobody takes them seriously outside a small minority in Bratislava and some University departments, much less the kids. For the past couple of years they tried all kinds of stuff, they did Elementary/High school tours with speeches and flyers and such, under several different brands and strategies only to their horror to find out the Slovak youth is the definition of based. The most popular party in High school polls are literal Nazis. The only problem with the Nazis around here is that they are depressingly incompetent and stupid. But there are some hopeful iterations in the work.
This is where it always starts. Besides them, there can be no doubt that outside forces such as the EU and the US regime is working towards making society the way it wants it to be.
Yes you can rule by brute force, North Korea style, but be prepared to build big walls to keep people IN, especially the young, educated, high IQ.

Though the number of immigrants is lower than in most neighboring countries. (Most likely due to problems with language acquisition – Hungarian is so unlike other European languages, that most people find it really hard to learn other languages, and so many find emigration quite difficult. This also results in higher human capital people leaving the country in larger numbers – those who managed to learn a foreign language already while in Hungary.)
In Hungary it was difficult to find money for such films. (They need to compete with Hollywood gigaproductions.) Also lots of untalented hacks jumped on the “national movie” bandwagon whenever there was some money available.
Yesterday, I heard The Young Turks Kasparian and Cenk blaming Russia for Smirkgate. The first video, obviously truncated to support BS claims against Sandmann, was uploaded by an anonymous Twitter user.
To that, Kasparian added that we all know who has anonymous accounts, and wants to “make us fight each other”.
Older Romanians still call the argument “kak izvestno” (“it is known”) as the “Stalin logic”.

Neither is a perfect example. In 1848 they were hotheaded, but actually had goals with which the elders themselves were broadly in agreement with. In Hungary for example the only issue was that some of the elders didn’t think the goals were possible to reach, but they agreed that they were desirable. So the young were conformists, just hotheaded.
Whereas in 1968 it might’ve been a case of the media/entertainment industry/Hollywood/etc. turning the conformist young against their elders. The young are conformist, but they conform to the ideals they see in the movies or is conveyed to them by pop stars.
It is not. I just put it into context – it’s very difficult to start a “based” country in some second world dump in Eastern Central Europe. Hungary is not doing relatively badly since 2010 relative to its neighbors.

The core of the term is ‘slnko = sun‘, and it rather nicely summarises their sunny, out-of-this world nature. They spread sunniness and pretty much everybody despises them. Their latest slogan is ‘decency‘, as in ‘can we have a more decent society?‘. It looks like a transparent attempt to rebrand ‘slnieckari’ with a new term. It would be hard to find a more vacuous political term than decency.
I wouldn’t underestimate them. They can only get a few thousand devotees to march around Bratislava (in between drinking endless machiattos), but as in the West previously, they are starting to dominate the media, culture and academia. That allows them to set the allowable discussion space. An endless parade of elderly has-been artists, sit around TV studios and pontificate on how miserable they are because they must live around the damn unsophisticated populist Slovak masses. Then they reminisce about a trip to Broadway, or how seeing LA and its vibrancy changed their lives – real stuff, not like those fujara playing country bumpkins. They would rather be somewhere else, but the damn commies kept them from doing it.
What is driving a lot of the younger ones is the usual hunger for something else. Anything else, just not what they are, what they have been born into. More isolated they are among their generation, more they slide into absurdity and sunniness. I agree that Slovak Nationalists are not the most competent bunch around – so many potential things to hate, they come across as a bit confused. But in one political form or another they keep on winning elections, the country is fundamentally sound.

Few corrections: Štefan Ižak is extremely progressive (helping migrants, anti-Kremlin-propaganda) post-doc student of ethnology, not yet a trendsetter.
The web “Hlavné správy” is by their own words “conservative daily”, so the-end-of-the-world-is-near comments are expected. Basically, Breitbart noted your blog, Slovak website rehashed it, the progressive student got dutifully outraged. Trashy academic journals publish almost anything these days.
The Slovak word “slnieckari”, literally “sunny people”, means multicultural people, in very negative sense.
