I’ve been watching events in Washington DC unfold on TV for the last couple of hours. It looks to me like its all been a staged event. There appears to me to be no more than 2-3 thousand protesters in front of the Capital building. There seems to be absolutely no security anywhere to be seen. How could this be, if everybody knew that there were going to be protesters there today? Biden and the Dems will be lauded by the press as being the saviors of Democracy – it couldn’t be any better for Biden and his supporters. Once again, there is no security anywhere to be seen, as if they were all pulled out to the side of the stage, while a few actors were allowed to perform their acts of violence, all on cue. So sad. 🙁
At this point, people storming Congress dressed like clowns probably elevates the institution.
BTW, for years now I have been noticing how partisan accouterments are proliferating in Congress. Some days, you would think you were looking at EFF’s section in the South African parliament, and they are increasing.
Mark my words: Congress with see horns eventually. Either the Devil’s, some neo-barbarians, or the tried-and-true military formations of the Zulus.
Already is, a cop shot a woman protester in the face/neck it looks like, then one of the starts gaslighting by shouting there’s an active shooter, without, you know, any of them acting like there’s a continuing threat from a protestor.
This has now been dialed up from semi-farcical to deadly serious might more likely to set off a preference cascade. And the Deep State has barely begun its retaliations.
One other thought to throw in the face of any s***libs who get the vapors over this: point out they were cheering on the same thing (minus the blood) when Scott Walker became governor in Wisconsin.
Thankfully all the MAGApedes are rubber-stamping the rationale behind sending them to bigotry re-education camps. My nephew drove to that mess from Iowa with the Fuentes-aligned America First delegation tweeting the whole way. I informed his local FBI office that he was a seditious threat.
This may seem futile but it lets Biden know he won’t enjoy one minute of peace and will get nothing accomplished legislatively. It further alerts neocons that they will be primaried. Now the key is follow through via a third party.
Yeah this is the Civil War. Try rounding up an army losers.
The goobermint divided the people into two camps.
Eventually they were gonna fight.
Divide and conquer doesn’t work for FAILED STATES.
An Angry Giant just woke up today.
Its tired of being attacked and name called by its moral inferiors.
Civil War II just went hot.
The Zion pigs better make beelines for the nearest airports.
I don’t disagree with your color commentary here, however, the big fact that there didn’t appear to be much if any security protection putting up any resistance anywhere goes a long way in putting the blame for these unfortunate events at the feet of the lackeys of the Washington swamp. Was funding pulled for the Washington DC police and security just before these events started?
The local police tried a very provocative & stupid first-strike against peaceful, unarmed Trump suporters.
Something like this is said to have happened last night, BLM beat up a old woman, bloodied her face (they like to do both to the elderly…), the pro-Trump types asked the police to arrest the assailant and they all got pepper sprayed for their temerity. Here’s one account of it and the aftermath, albeit from an unreliable source.
It is more of a provocation to stifle any potential dissent after Biden/Harris coming to power. It might indeed end up with a violent confrontation though. Especially now that the runoffs in Georgia have been brazenly stolen using exactly the same tactics as during the presidential election. Republicans have no more power, and they ain’t going to get it back. It’s game over for them if they accept this.
Whatever analogy that you’re trying to make with your two photos above headlining this post seems weak and below your intellect. What does Ukrainian gripes with Russian intrusions into its internal affairs have to do with Trump supporters protesting the questionable outcome of the last presidential election? Stick with your black/white cameo photos that are really quite stylish and useful.
I informed his local FBI office that he was a seditious threat.
FYI, in Russian culture informers, sneaks, and snitches of all stripes are considered maybe just a notch above child molesters. Happy snitching, libtard!
There was a joke in Russia that color revolution in the US is impossible because there is no American embassy there. American belief that chickens always come home to roost appears closer to the truth.
Fun & based as this all is, my objective take is that color revolutions only succeed when there’s elite defection. Euromaidan succeeded because oligarchs with Western bank accounts turned on Yanukovych & siloviks didn’t want to stick their neck out for a craven backstabber.
Conversely, the Minsk Maidan failed, amongst other things, because elites remained consolidated and Lukashenko maintained loyalty of the siloviks. As I in fact said would happen from the start: https://unz.com/akarlin/belarus-elections-2020/
American elites are consolidated & that even includes the military brass. Trump was too erratic to systemically staff the system with people loyal to him – a sine qua non if he was serious about staying in power, which I very much doubt anyway (he’s more into showmanship).
This jacquerie – yes, elites really do see it as peasant revolt, read Blue Check comments – will be crushed, its participants brutally repressed & sentenced to disproportionately long prison sentences.
But hopefully will at least provide trolling material for Russia and China.

Exactly. These rightoids have no idea what’s coming for them. The new USSR will be the US. Only this time the new “communism” will be about identity politics, instead about the workers.

It is all most probably the result of a deliberate provocation to justify the ensuing crackdown on the American populist and conservative activists.
The open season on Trumpists starting tonight. But the final target is the American middle class, which must be radically downsized in the next few years.
No more America First, we live in a Global (Kolkhoz) Village now. American exceptionalism is so twentieth century. No nation is indispensable under the sun…
What’s the big deal? A few windows got broken? Trespassing? The Soros DAs don’t even prosecute for that anymore. The cops shot an innocent unarmed woman in cold blood to defend a window? They value property over human life. The U.S. Capitol is insured.
This FAILED STATE looks like a paper tiger.
No tanks are gonna roll. They’re stretched thin all over the Earth.
That “diversity” will probably make most of these units ineffective anyway.
All you Zion pigs that want a roundup into gulags should make for an airport.
This looks like a Real Civil War brewing and you have no loyalists on your side.
its participants brutally repressed & sentenced to disproportionately long prison sentences
Unless they find calls to murder on arrested individuals’ social media, it will probably just be trespassing and the like.
Euromaidan succeeded because oligarchs with Western bank accounts turned on Yanukovych & siloviks didn’t want to stick their neck out for a craven backstabber
Correct but keep in mind Yanukovich’s unpopularity and mass revolt were necessary conditions for these factors to come into play (not you IIRC, but others have a notion that this was simply a Western/oligarch project without much popular input)
They have provoked the American conservatives and populists year after year. Now that this provocation succeeded, they should use it to destroy them.
Now they have the perfect justification to do just that.
They can try.
No one has ever attempted that against such a well armed populace, and claiming this is sufficient justification for such a gross overreaction is exactly the wrong thing if 4GW rules are in place. especially after the Left’s riots last year. If they aren’t, if the US Establishment no longer has to worry about world opinion, they’ll have suffered a terrific loss.
And last time I checked, attacking your own logistics is a self-defeating move.
Have been watching this live, flipping between all 4 nerworks.
Amazing how quickly they all started calling the protesters a mob.
Amazing how quickly they called it violent, without evidence that anyone was being violent toward any people.
Amazing how they all blame Trump.
I’m not forming an opinion of what happened, which was broadcast for all to see. I’m encouraging those who trust MSM to ask themselves how supposedly independent media coalesce around the same storyline so quickly.
Yes, it seems that the Swamp Patrol forgot their clubs at home and resorted to the malleable pillow routine. Where’s the tear gas? How about getting though the doors? Were the ticket takers on a coffee break too?
Poroshenko had even lower approval rating than Yanukovych.
Color revolutions have little to do with popularity of existing government. 3-5% of any population are gullible retards, roughly half lefttards, half righttards. When the bulk of the population is passive, either half with proper financing and arming can take over the country. In the end that passive bulk will bear the consequences, but when they realize that, it’s too late.
True, the unpopularity was necessary. But the unpopularity alone was from enough.
Correct, because:
Poroshenko had even lower approval rating than Yanukovych.
And he was voted out of office, and people understood that he would leave peacefully (he did not arrest Tymoshenko, or Zelensky, didn’t cancel elections, etc.) Everyone understood Yanukovich wasn’t going to go peacefully.
So the recipe for a violent overthrow was:
Extreme unpopularity of the leader among the population
Widespread idea that only way to get rid of the leader is through overthrow, elections won’t do it
Mass protests
Elite split
Breakdown and defection of state forces (due in part to #1 and #4), much of the police and army on the side of the revolt
With respect to the USA now:
Not true of Biden. May be true of Harris if she assumes power
Maybe 20% of Americans believe this
Not large enough – it would be 100,000s not 1,000s or 10,000
You can tell ahead of all this that Trump is not planning any coup. With Ukraine and every other color revolution you can see boots on the ground from a mile away. This was Trump stacking up leverage for something much smaller, like making sure they leave him the fuck alone after all is said and done. Then again who knows what movements people can hide. If all of a sudden a maga army appears I will be impressed.
Yes, it seems that the Swamp Patrol forgot their clubs at home and resorted to the malleable pillow routine. Where’s the tear gas? How about getting though the doors? Were the ticket takers on a coffee break too?
These are elite GRU agents, not ordinary protesters, they have their methods…
Yes, US rightoids are weak, cowards, cuckolds, as well as retards. This is why they will be wiped out in a gradual cultural revolution.
To rule the world and then to lose even your own country – that means that you became a degenerate and you will suffer the consequences for that. A wipe out.
Now it is up to the rest of the planet to stop the US Empire. US rightoids fucked up.
You need to put foreign support in the recipe as well. It was very clear that any overthrow would be considered legitimate by Western countries. That’s big. Then on top of that there was the massive shilling in the media.
The German event was a micrometer phenomenon of the mildest sort imaginable. No shots were fired. Nobody did anything except being there, so to speak. And nobody was wounded. So – ok – – – – a parallel.
It is no wonder that in such a reality, we often see the social and cultural landscape altered suddenly, dramatically and far from being the organic groundswell it may seem, what we are really experiencing is carefully crafted conditioning by the cadre of international capital.
IN 1947, these forces set forth several organizations and institutions for the purposes of mass opinion engineering. It was in this one year alone when the The Kinsey Institute was founded in April and the CIA and the Tavistock Institute were founded within 2 days of each other in September. All 3 organizations were covered in Rockefeller fingerprints, armed with Bernaysian propaganda weaponized against us and would proceed for the next 73 years to declare war on Western Civilization on countless fronts of offensive operations. Though seemingly separate organizations with seemingly unrelated ideas, they all have one thing in common, aside from of course, their origin. And that is simply stated, mind control. Mass social engineering meant to mold the minds of men to suit their evil intentions. Most people think that brainwashing is something that could only be administered by madmen in a POW camp or in underground laboratories like in Clockwork Orange. And there’s a reason we have such images in our minds and that reason is brainwashing. Most people live their whole lives in near total obliviousness to the ways in which their thoughts and actions are governed by this illusory entity, and as I’ve said before the worst prisons are the ones where the inmates can’t even see the bars.
Exactly. These rightoids have no idea what’s coming for them. The new USSR will be the US. Only this time the new “communism” will be about identity politics, instead about the workers.
Except that socialism/communism and workers rights had much more of a following in its day that homo/globalist identity politics ever will.
All you need to do is turning this well armed populace against each other and convince each of the warring factions that they are on the right side of history. They will weaken each other and all you will need to do is to control the infighting until they are completely exhausted and ready to be subdued.
America has turned against itself many years ago, it is a dysfunctional, debased and psychologically fractured society. But so is also the Western civilization. The Great White World is being put to death right in front of our eyes.
What happened today in Washington DC is just another symbolic episode of this ongoing degradation and downfall.
1. Extreme unpopularity of the leader among the population
2. Widespread idea that only way to get rid of the leader is through overthrow, elections won’t do it
3. Mass protests
4. Elite split
5. Breakdown and defection of state forces (due in part to #1 and #4), much of the police and army on the side of the revolt
With respect to the USA now:
1. Not true of Biden. May be true of Harris if she assumes power
2. Maybe 20% of Americans believe this
3. Not large enough – it would be 100,000s not 1,000s or 10,000
4. Nope
5. Also nope
So no USA Maidan.
Running this checklist for the Spanish Civil War (1936 just prior) would give:
No. Had support from the left.
Maybe 25%
No. Too many armed militias.
Yes/No. It was a government of the left with various shades from Socialist to hard Bolshevik/Communist. The traditionalist right (monarchy, aristocracy, church) were excluded.
Yes. After the murder of rightist political leader Calvo-Sotelo the military and state forces split.
The key here was the perception that the government would do nothing to enforce the law/stop church burnings, destruction of property and political killings.
Your second paragraph contradicts your first. American deplorables are so atomized that the Deep State would first have to build up factions in them to fight each other … which strikes me as an terrible, no good at all idea for them, too easy to lose control. Not to mention they’d have to reverse many decades of hard work, and get enough people in their autoconspiracy to reverse course. Sure they can do 180s at a moment’s notice on positions, but that’s very different from changing what you do, even what you are.
The other thing is how do you get the deplorables to forget about their common enemies? Sure, Before Trump our understanding of them was inchoate (not counting all who hate Hillary, including plenty nominally on her side), but their reaction to Trump drew out the Deep State from the shadows. As a book end, how many of us now doubt the rottenness of our two major political parties, the Democrats were a given, but now we see Pence fully side with the Democrats, and between the election and yesterday, work very hard against our interests, and to the benefit of the Democrats, intended or not.
The above is not necessarily well thought out, or thought through, but it’s how I see things from my part of US flyover country.
For the US Right, “flash mobs” are a winning tactic; imagine if the Unite the Right rally stopped with their surprise nighttime tiki torch march through an enemy stronghold (university). The idea of trying to hold the Capitol is beyond ludicrous; figuratively pulling down the pants of the Congress was quite enough … except we have to reckon with the woman the Feds executed.
I have no idea where this is going to go in the medium to long term, but neither we nor our ruling class will forget it for a long time. I’m not big on Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals (perhaps that should change), but at least some of his rule five is correct:“Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. It’s hard to counterattack ridicule, and it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage.”
Trump has been locked out of his Twitter account for 12 hours, I am willing to bet he will be banned soon after January 20, there is no way he will be able to keep his fingers restrained and not type out seethe after inauguration day, something which Twitter will misconstrue as incitement.
I don’t believe there will be any significant direct political impact from this. But I think it’s safe to say the deterioration of national unity will continue. A lot of very aggressive rhetoric is used by both sides on social media.
Has NK or Venezuela issued any statement yet on the fate of the large number of confederate flag waving democracy activist who have been trying to get involved in the on -going discussion and proceedings at the Capitol Hill ? Any message from the HK government ? Did Russia warn the activist in advance about potential threat to the safety and security of the active shooters ( AKA protesters ) from the governmental provocateurs ?
Pinchuk explicitly stated that he changed sides after the Orange demonstrations in 2004. Things happen in stages. That said, today is more likely to trigger a swing away from the Trump end of the pendulum. All political power is with the Democrats now.
That’s a poor bit of charity. I hope she was married and already had children to carry on her line, given she won’t get the chance to have them now. They’d survive fine with just their father.
Even if of dubious value in the foreseeable future to the American right, this kind of absurd banana republic stuff happening is a big blow to America’s image, especially given the random protester security forces killed. There’s only so much an increasingly incompetent state media can do to tar an unarmed woman and military veteran as “having it coming”. America is increasingly seen as a sclerotic joke at home and abroad, if this was a setup to provide pretense to destroy the American right it was a very shortsighted one (which I suppose you’d expect from a sclerotic joke empire).
All in all I feel quite sad for the woman who was killed, but overall encouraged that the great satan is so feckless even in the face of so small a display of resistance.
Kids need their mothers more than they need their dads, especially when young. If she has kids she shouldn’t have entered the building itself. Especially she shouldn’t have tried to climb through the broken window into a restricted location.
And I am in general against involving females in political activism and potentially violent demonstrations. I am quite conservative on this issue because when I was young I have seen myself people being beaten up to pulp by the cops or opposite factions during political rallies. Women do not belong in brawls and riots.
And btw f☆ck gender equality and feminism. Ladies should be protected and taken care of by real men. If she had a boyfriend or a husband, then he is partially responsible for her death. He should have told her to stay behind and go first to check that the premises are safe. That’s what a real man should have done.
Michael Anthony McFaul (born October 1, 1963) is an American academic and diplomat who served as the United States Ambassador to Russia from 2012 to 2014. McFaul is currently the Ken Olivier and Angela Nomellini Professor in International Studies in the Department of Political Science at Stanford University, where he is the Director of the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies.
The US capital is pretty well guarded. They aren’t gonna get scared of a mob. Biden and Pence both made politically self-destructive and untenable speeches which won’t be well received by the American public…or anybody else on planet earth.
It’s only a matter of time…Biden and the semites tag a fight with the Russians. Putin has a little more firepower than the average right-winger American.
She was not 16. She seemed to be in her 30s. She was a 14 year Air Force veteran from San Diego named Ashley Babbitt. Here is her Twitter page: https://twitter.com/Ashli_Babbitt
She was into the MAGA and Q stuff. Here she is on the right wearing a Q shirt:
Maidan was a violent Western-backed insurrection, that sought to impose radical agenda on an unwilling country. President Yanukovich did leave as peacefully as he could however. Didn’t even try to arrest leaders of the rebellion for example.
All that may be true, but it’s immaterial to my point. She did something a little foolhardy and was extremely unlucky, that’s no reason to wish the worst for her. Being survived by your family > ending your line. And even from the children’s perspective, unfortunately living without your mother > nonexistence.
I read the media statements by former American Presidents. One former President I could not find. I had to google in his name to find it. Jimmy Carter. As I suspected, it was very balanced. It made reference to the “return to rule of law”. That seems a veiled reference to the Presidential election. He appeared to throw out a hint he would like to use his experience in elections in “troubled Democracies” to settle this election. The calls for a a re-count are being ignored by the media.
Why would you ever display charity and wish the best for a stranger who got killed doing something shortsighted but otherwise harmless? I suppose it must be very difficult for someone like you to understand.
I do agree. However, it is important to remember two things:
It is difficult for anyone to tell what is really happening in a chaotic situation.
It is even harder to know what the ultimate consequences might be.
My Advice:
Be wary of both Fear and Anger. To the Dark Side do these lead. (Really: you are easiest to manipulate and deceive when you are angry or afraid. It is impossible to make good decisions when you are in the grip of either emotion.)
For myself, I would like very much for the United States to go back to being a regular country, concerned only with events inside its own borders and allowing the other countries of the world to manage their own affairs.
Maidan was a violent Western-backed insurrection, that sought to impose radical agenda on an unwilling country
It was indeed a violent insurrection, a mass revolt of half the country against a deeply unpopular ruler. More of the country supported Maidan (41%) than supported Yanukovich (25%).
President Yanukovich did leave as peacefully as he could however. Didn’t even try to arrest leaders of the rebellion for example
Plenty of people were arrested and beaten by the police, but it didn’t work, the mass uprising was too great, the police fractured, the army stayed out, and it became clear that if Yanukovich stayed he would have lost and met Ceausescu’s fate, so he escaped.
Uh, storming the capitol building and breaking widows isn’t harmless (to the participants). There’s a real risk of getting shot in the process, just like any hot prowl burglary. This woman was an impulsive, scatterbrained attention whore and I’m glad she got killed. I wish she had been shot in the abdomen so she could feel more pain before she died. I specifically want these people to be in a state of agony and regret until they expire, as they normally do under natural conditions. You want them to reproduce. Why is it that Christians and alt-right people in general seem to be reflexively inclined to facilitate the reproduction and thriving of genetically defective human beings, arguably zombies in this case? Are you a coalition of genetic shit trying to get a leg up against natural selection? Is this really just a big war on nature for leaving you behind? Do you not think there is a reason why you seem to be losing on every front, and each passing day seems more and more like an uphill battle — despite the fact that your enemies are winning without effort? Sensitive, well-attuned people can perceive these things.
Salutations to the highest Sword, the cutting Sirohi [type of Sword]. Making two from one [decapitating], the warrior who holds You in their hand is victorious !
Sensitive, well-attuned people do not engage in sadistic gloating. I am not remotely sympathetic to Trump (I am not an American anyway) but his followers now have a martyr. This was a minor skirmish, but then so was John Brown’s raid on Harper’s Ferry in 1859.
A grim inevitability about it, the person these politicians send off to war to promote ‘democracy’, certainly a juxtaposition to the low lifes Rittenhouse killed.
Hardly a violent mob, frankly looks like the police made the wise choice to let them mill about a bit taking pictures, I am sure more than a few sympathise.
Hysterical reaction from the blue checks, I fear that the left will go full authoritarian now though and these guys will be persecuted. Have to be smarter, certainly the staged event and Qanon stuff doesn’t help. Actually a really impressive turnout for the protest, Trump and his supporters won’t be going anywhere.
Sometimes the simplest explanation is just that things really are what they are appear to be.
I’d take any such suggestions as (another, they’re coming in a lot recently) rightoid cope unless any real evidence comes around.
Fourteen years she helped out bombing Afghan peasants that could not really hurt her in return. Hardly a noble endeavor. It appears karma was there, waiting for her in the Capitol DC at the barrel of a federal agent’s gun. Poor lost soul, brainwashed and killed by the Empire. If the payback is a soul for a soul, then she is just the first among many to untimely die in US of A in the next decade. And yes, karma is stochastic: it might affect one’s genetic lineage.
And I am in general against involving females in political activism and potentially violent demonstrations. I am quite conservative on this issue because when I was young I have seen myself people being beaten up to pulp by the cops or opposite factions during political rallies. Women do not belong in brawls and riots.
With your attitude we will lose, women are excellent for optics and when they get hurt theres more visibility, in the fight against Devil all means are permitted, especially when the Devil will use all our weaknesses against us. Your gentlemanly ways dont belong to this era, to win one must be adaptable.
I’m not from the US, genius. Liberals will make sure demographics are stacked against you, they will terraform the culture too, and they are smarther than you, dumb animal. And yes, you are hated by everyone, see Trump’s rating in the world, hated by majority populations almost everywhere. You made it to be that way, because of your stupidity. You had a chance to cooperate with others, but you blew it. Now good riddance, dumb US rightoid. You won’t see power again.
Not only that, but I see them unironically instituting some discrimination laws. Like, if you’re republican in a city you get lynched with full state support
You live in a dictatorship. The only thing new today is that’s it’s stepping out into the open.
Biden will know an infinite amount of peace any day now. That walking cadaver’s days are numbered. His own party might knock him off to get president Harris’s administration front and center as quickly as possible.
The D’s now own the whole game. They’ll pass whatever it is they want because the R’s that want to stay around will go along. The whole thing is one giant con because there is only one party and it’s called government.
You can replace any POS you want at the primaries and they’ll just find another. The entire system has replaceable parts easily sourced from the sociopaths in waiting.
A third part is the natural reaction from the shallow thinkers. The actual solution is to get rid of the two parties in existence as they provide the appearance of political opposition where none actually exists.
You are missing his point: “Sow the Wind, and Reap the Whirlwind”.
No, I think that it’s Karlin and you that are missing the point. Let’s be very clear about this, undoubtedly the US jumped on the Ukrainian bandwagon, the 43% of the Ukrainian nation that AP alludes to in one of his comment here, but it was originally and primarily Yanukovych who sowed the wind, and Reaped the Whirlwind, with his unpopular actions in Ukraine. It’s fallacious to try and blame the US for the Euromaidan in Ukraine that occurred in 2014. There were much more serious currents going on within Ukraine than “Nuland and her cookies” that were bubbling that finally brought Yanukovych down.
Perhaps you’re right. I was only expressing my initial thoughts in comment#4, that were influenced only by what I was watching on TV. I give more credence now, to A123’s comment #12, where he assigns the tragi/comic results to a combination of staged and natural causes. It still seems highly strange/improbable that a couple of dozen protesters would get within the congressional chamber so easily to seriously threaten the congressional representatives.
You need to chill out a bit on this issue, there’s nothing wrong with a little humor at the Ukraine’s expense. That it gets you so worked up is just an added bonus. Sure, Maidan was a popular uprising and Yanukovich was scum who deserved an even worse fate than the one he got. But that doesn’t exclude the US’ love of meddling in FSU affairs for no other reason than sticking it to Russia, and you can’t blame Russians’ glee at seeing the chickens coming home to roost.
I can see that pointing out that the US did not sow any wind in Ukraine, but only threw up a kite when it was already blowing, is causing you some uncomfortable warmth under the collar. I’m not the one who brought this topic up for discussion.
Some more conspiratorial types are suggesting anti-Trump agitators are responsible for the capitol storming. I don’t rule some form of that idea out, but there are other possibilities. One is that the storming is an unintended effect of center-right grifting. The “stop the steal” business clearly has many layers of grifting involved, and for the grifting to be successful you need to stoke the MAGA crowd in an escalatory fashion. Perhaps these efforts have gotten out of control, and the capital storming was not intended.
In any case, it does seem like this act will only further discredit MAGA people. The question is what will the state do about it. AK has talked about state capacity recently. One measure of state capacity is how well it suppresses threatening dissent. If U.S. state capacity is weaker than people think, then its efforts to persecute MAGA people may often miss the target.
I think the main response to all this may be the authorities tightening the grip on social media.
Common sense would have had Trump put up his own web site where he could say anything he wanted any time he wanted. He would have instantly had the most popular web site in the world, where popular is defined as the most hits. But he didn’t do that. Instead, he used a platform controlled by the opposition. Ask yourself why.
Trump was and is a phony. He never intended to do any of the things his supporters expected of him and which he telegraphed during the 2016 election soap opera.
All elections in the US are fraudulent. The facade of legitimacy is coming down, if it hasn’t totally crashed with this latest theatrical production. The true face of the US government is starting to become more obvious to even the dolts that vote – it’s a soft dictatorship and has been since WW-II, at least.
Not at all, it’s funny how seriously you take it. And you’re still missing the point, even though it’s been explained to you three times now, because you’re just so passionate about this one thing. But I guess it all makes sense. As the guys at the Exile once so poignantly put it, the Ukraine is like a joke that gets funnier every time you hear it.
We can only hope that there’s no spurious series of rationalizations available to someone who wants to murder you I guess? I mean you pay taxes don’t you, you’re complicit in all the evils of your government, you must have had it coming, “karma” doesn’t care that you were coerced and didn’t have a choice (please spare me the cope about how military personnel have a “choice” to disobey orders or even the ability to assess the moral content of each order).
So you’ve decided this poor lady had it coming obviously, are you sure you can’t find a reason why the hypothetical Afghans you decided she must have killed deserved it too?
Wow, and to think I thought you were a deranged and uncharitable person! I see now that you just think inferior defective people should just be slaughtered, how wrong I was!
And you’ve obviously done extensive research to conclude that this woman was worthless genetic scum, after all, no one of any worth in history has done something risky or foolhardy, all great and worthy specimens have done more noble and constructive things like posting deranged nonsense on unz dot com.
The people you call “liberals” are anything but that. They have no use for free speech and deny their political opponents the right to peaceful assembly. They want to revoke the 2nd amendment. They support monopolist High Tech and big Finance. Show us where and how at any time in historical political discussions, those characteristics appeared under the label “liberal”.
Find the right label and use it. Insert the correct word into your sentence and then reread it. As it stands, it is gibberish.
Yep, at the very least he could have migrated to Gab or Telegram. This would have caused even libtards to create accounts on those websites as they cannot help but engage with Trump and his supporters.
Sadly he just kept “watching things closely”, he even defended these tech companies when the EU was set to hand out a massive fine to them, I guess the NASDAQ matters more to him.
Death is coming sooner or later for all of us. We are all conditioned; this brave lady, me, you, the federal agent who fired the gun at Ashley Babbitt and the Afghans that died under the US aviation strikes that Ashley Babbitt has partook in. We will all face the logical outcome of these conditions; death is one of them and so is old age and suffering. We are all interlocked and interlinked in a global whole and we suffer because we cannot make it better for all of us.
I try to bear no ill will against anyone, although it is sometimes difficult to keep a peaceful mind. I feel and understand your anger, but I maintain what I wrote: I hope she didn’t leave young children behind. The times we are heading into will be difficult for children even if their parents are around. They will be outstandingly difficult and outright painful if their mother has been killed.
The issues plaguing the USA are unsolvable – systemic and ingrained – caused by degrading human capital, eroding scientific, technological and engineering advantage vs rest of the world (contrast to 1945-2000) and diminished military supremacy.
The causes of Trump election will not go away.
The prosperity the Americans think they deserve and their parents and grandparents experienced due to civilizational advantage and no war impact is not coming back.
This will all end in a major war, as the current hegemon, the USA and its ruling caste will launch a major war just as the global power and control are slipping from their grasp – just like any other hegemon has in the past.
The nexus of evil that are the US deep state, political party, media and corporate establishments, not to mention the dystopian social relativism and degeneracy exporting, Wokesturm and other US-sourced abominations can only be defeated in a cataclysmic war.
Actually, I live in the Caribbean. People that live in Hawaii or Guam don’t live in North America even though they are under the jurisdiction of the US Fed Gov, so the thousands of USians and Canadians that live on Roatan don’t live in Central America.
You should also consider that I chose to live outside the US. I actually got off my ass and did some research to decide where I wanted to live and under what set of gov’t edicts. Here, I’m a more free individual than I ever was in the US, regardless of which state I lived in, New York or Texas.
You might consider going where you’re treated best, not pissing into the wind and then being disappointed at getting wet.
I don’t think that war in Afghanistan was justified. At least not in the form it had taken. And that war was lost anyway. Just like the war in Iraq is being lost. The US veterans of all these conflicts fought useless wars, that is useless except for the MIC and Israel.
Taliban are radical in their ethnic and religious chauvinism, have barbaric customs regarding women and children, destroy cultural and historical heritage and are incapable of creating a stable and prosperous society, for all their fights for sovereignity and against foreign meddling.
The problem is that US exceptionalism, dogmatism, avarice, interventionism and radicalism of the polar opposite type are an even bigger threat to humanity.
I am passionate about Russia in much the same way you are about the Ukraine. However, there are some key differences between us. First of all, I actually live in the country, so I present some consistency, coherency and have skin in the game. More to the point, however, is that I recognize the utility in taking a step back and laughing at the many inanities and deserved ridicule that Russia receives. In my mind, self deprecation projects strength, the lack of it projects weakness and insecurity.
I don’t think that war in Afghanistan was justified. At least not in the form it had taken
Afghanistan sheltered and supported terrorists who launched an attack on US soil, killing about three thousand Americans. USA had a right to issue its ultimatum to the Afghan government and to invade if this ultimatum was unfulfilled, as it did.
And that war was lost anyway
The occupation was lost but the war was not. All responsible parties were tracked down and killed.
How can retarded Trump-tards imagine that “i have the biggest dick” imperialism and lashing out at the rest of the planet like rabid dogs will save them? The retards are getting taken over internally and all they do is to lash out at the external world, like this fat retard enjoyed doing.
Making everybody hate you is not a good strategy, Trump-tards.
You will have to be totally squeezed and humiliated before you give up imperial dreams and start cooperating with the rest of the planet.
Yes, I agree with that. You can’t act like the Taliban did to the world’s only superpower (at the time) and not expect to be brutally punished for it.
Pro-Talibanism doesn’t even make much sense from some extremely reductive anti-American/”imperialist: position, they came to power thanks in large part to the US and there were active discussions between them and USG about constructing an oil pipeline through Afghanistan in the 1990s. They were far more anti-Iran and anti-Russia than they were anti-US, LOL.
In contrast, the very nice “occupation” government in Afghanistan was kind enough to recognize Crimea as Russian in 2014.
If you’re referring to 911, you’re drinking the Kool-Aid.
911 was an inside job. The original single hole in the Pentagon was proof that a missile hit the building. If it had been an airplane, the engines would have made additional holes on either side of the fuselage hole. I’ve got a picture of the one and only hole before their clean up efforts expanded that hole. Even after the expansion, there were still no holes where the engines would have hit the building.
When Rumsfeld announced the day before that DOD couldn’t account for $2 Trillion, and the next day the Navy offices investigating the missing money were the target of a missile and all were killed and records destroyed, that should convince anyone that 911 was the greatest heist ever conceived. The backup site for the Navy’s records was building 7 in New York that was destroyed without ever being hit by anything.
Wake up.
BTW – I also have a photo of a NY fireman standing in front of a shattered towers column that clearly shows a column cleanly cut by a shape charge at a steep angle to allow the above section to slide off due to the weight. The towers were demolished by professional demolition experts.
This is a common symptom of religious people: mixing together causally unrelated topics, to create story that has the ability to provide them emotional satisfaction, but which is “co-incidentally” in line with their other subjective opinions. Another common symptom of religious people- to talk in a millenarian way about the “hard times”.
In this news story, it’s difficult to see an example “karma”. The woman has run into the American parliament edifice without permission. She voluntarily chose to do something physically and legally dangerous, and so the result (to be shot by a security guard) is more like something that child could have predicted, rather than having the sense of a lightening bolt thrown from Zeus.
In terms of sympathy, she chose to run into the building without permission – like someone jumping from a high building during basejumping.
It’s sad story in the way of death of suicides and basejumpers so on, but not in the way of the victims of coronavirus, or of children who die from cancer, who are not voluntarily choosing to expose themselves to the death.
first among many to untimely die in US of A in the next decade
One of the main drivers for the political stupidity in USA, is that life is too easy. It’s the opposite of “hard times” – American idiocracy is a symptom of a population who are products of too easy times and became very soft.
Hence we hear complaining about “persecution” because they have to wear a mask during a pandemic, or cancel their children’s violin classes, etc.
Other drivers of the stupidity are things like the computerization of the population, and bi-partisan system.
Problem of increasingly stupid, computerized, screen-addicted, population, is not unique to America of course, and neither the increasingly spoilt people. People are becoming like this across the first world, and even second world. But the high level of politicization of ordinary people is much worse in American than most countries.
Why bother going through this much trouble? If you want a terrorist act to happen it’s easier to just let terrorists do it. The only thing you have to do is to not prevent it.
In this news story, it’s difficult to see an example “karma”. The woman has run into the American parliament edifice without permission. She voluntarily chose to do something physically and legally dangerous,
You’ve got kind of a point, but when one watches the video of her shooting it looks pretty bad, certainly something that should be investigated as potentially unjustified. When one considers how sympathetic mainstream media and the political establishment throughout the West were towards the BLM protests, despite all their violence, and that lefties speak about “the murder of George Floyd” as if it were an established fact, but will see no problem at all with this incident, the double standard becomes glaringly obvious.
That being said, looking at Ashli Babbit’s Twitter account is really depressing, she obviously was a true believer of the most demented Qanon conspiracy theories (e.g. Supreme Court judge John Roberts being blackmailed for pedophilia). You have to be really stupid and gullible to get yourself killed for a con man like Donald Trump.
He’s a decent writer so if it was sarcasm, it would be more obvious. I see no attempt at sarcasm, and when I use sarcasm and it can in any way be construed the other way, I always put a /sarc as a follow up.
That people still believe the utter nonsense of the official version or its derivatives is amazing to me.
How many people know about Dov Zakheim, a dual citizen Israeli Jew that held various DOD positions and owned a company that created hardware and software to turn a civilian jet into a pilot less drone. Records show that his firm was given the contract to make drones for the military, I believe in the Florida panhandle. Those drones has a belly pod exactly like the ones shown on the pictures of the planes that hit the towers.
How many people know that a Bush relative was in charge of security for the towers and he quit shortly before 911. It was under his watch that the demolition charges were installed over several months.
It’s kind of silly to deny plane crashes witnessed by thousands of people. Are there factors involved that we can not be privy to (was this known by someone but no warnings were issued, etc.) – perhaps, or perhaps not. We aren’t in a position to know that. But denying that planes hit the towers is ridiculous.
But denying that planes hit the towers is ridiculous.
This is quite a straw man by you, I don’t think any, except the wackiest, of the 9/11 ‘Truthers” deny that planes hit the towers. This is similar to the assertion that Holocaust deniers think no Jews died from maltreatment in German concentration camps.
It is entirely possible however that the intelligence agencies had foreknowledge of the attacks and let them happen as they would serve as a good excuse for war, which would profit Israel, oil companies and arms suppliers.
The Afghanistan war cannot be justified on humanitarian grounds alone, as that would beg the question of why America doesn’t invade most of the world for not treating women and gays according to Western liberal values, Afghanistan was invaded to encircle Iran and to provide good access to the Central Asian Republics and also to Xinjiang, where Uighur separatism could be fomented to weaken China.
How do you get a terrorist to hit the Pentagon with a missile? Only the US military has the local hardware to accomplish that. Allowing terrorists to succeed is in itself a conspiracy to harm the country. The dancing Israeli’s were allowed to leave the country when no flights were supposedly allowed. That alone is collusion.
Any reference to foreign terrorists is just a smoke screen for the real perpetrators – the deep state and Israel.
Yes, I agree with that. You can’t act like the Taliban did to the world’s only superpower (at the time) and not expect to be brutally punished for it.
Pakistan has done more to shelter Osama bin Laden then the Taliban ever did, and they have got off scot free. For that matter Pakistan basically created the Taliban and the mujahideen.
The war in Afghanistan was a farce, and Osama bin Laden was only in Afghanistan because the U.S. wanted him there rather than Sudan.
When the U.S. finally does leave Afghanistan, there’s a good chance the Taliban will take back control.
The biggest beneficiaries of the Afghan war are the heroin smugglers, who have killed more Americans than all Islamic terrorists combined.
The CIA was responsible for funding the mujahideen, but Pakistan did all the actual work as I understand it. I don’t think the CIA cared much about what the ideology of the group was.
Taliban had only limited continuity with the 1980s mujahideen, they were more of a movement that arose after the Soviet withdrawal in response to the anarchic civil war conditions in Afghanistan. Some of the major 1980s mujahideen leaders like Ahmed Shah Massoud and Gulbuddin Hekmatyar actually were opponents of the Taliban.
Gazing upon Ukraine started in 2004 with the claims of fraudulent election. Today, the evidence they presented for those claims looks…strangely familiar.
For example, here is a hilarious in retrospect piece from Slate, “How to rig a (2004) Ukrainian Election.”
Please don’t refer to Ceausescu’s death as if it was a popular achievement. Ceausescu was not killed by the people. In fact, he was hidden in an unspecified place by the coup authors. At that time, it seemed that his captors were afraid of loyalist commandos releasing him. In reality, by the time of his show trial, the coup had complete control over any armed organization of the state. They were afraid of regular Romanians releasing him.
Even Mussolini and Saddam, more worthy enemies of the Anglos, were killed in secret, their remains being desecrated only postfactum. In fact, Ceausescu’s remains were hidden for a decade or so, just like Hitler memorabilia, so that the new masters carry on undisturbed with their colonization project.
Only Gaddafi’s killing appears a popular riot, although I assume some tribal friction might have been involved.
Most of the Anglo-American assassinations are arranged in such a way that they appear to have popular support, but they have always been as obviously fake as the ads for McDonald’s.
Any mainstream political movement in a multicult society will inevitably be dumb, IMO. Otherwise, it would immediately get its head cut off.
The only recourse open to intelligent people seems to be to be politically disengaged, or to support certain parties based on the theory that they are playing dumb. Some individual pols might actually be playing dumb, but I don’t think it works on the party level. Too much potential for betrayal, if anti-regime truths are spoken aloud.
Any mainstream political movement in a multicult society will inevitably be dumb, IMO.
Maybe, in a way it’s of course easier to get lost in essentially apolitical fantasies about conspiracies by pedophile satanists, than to face the really unpalatable ethnic and racial issues.
But the sad reality is that Trump’s presidency hasn’t done anything at all to advance a more honest discourse about immigration and multiculturalism (because Trump in the end is just a stupid boomer cuck himself who cares about nothing but his own narcissism and his rotten family), yet it will still be used as a pretext by the establishment throughout the West for ever more repression. And most right-wingers seem to be more unable than ever to even articulate a coherent vision.
Where did I deny planes crashing into the twin towers?
The other guy seemed to, but now he’s claiming they were pilotless drones.
The only sane interpretations are that it happened as is widely believed (incompetence at various levels, a security breach) or that it was allowed to happen, like Pearl Harbor. The former is more likely but the latter is possible.
The only recourse open to intelligent people seems to be to be politically disengaged
That’s where I’m increasingly at, but it’s a terrible feeling to be reduced to being nothing more than an observer of an unfolding disaster.
Maybe right-wingers need to think about creating new forms of organization and community (secret societies?), instead of putting all their hopes in parties and politicians who are bound to disappoint.
The title of the above linked RT article is somewhat inaccurate. No one has said that Putin is actually behind the Capitol Hill demo. Rather, some of the grossly hyped politicos (like Ben Rhodes and Michael McFaul) are saying that it serves his interests. Like Putin spends a good portion of his day on trying to figure out how to screw the US. If anything, it’s the reverse, in the form of neocon/neolib leaning DC establishment types seeking to constantly find a demonic Russian angle to something.
Recall a time when government and numerous others would leave Christmas decor up thru the 12 days of Christmas, starting on the modern calendar and the January 7 Orthodox observed old calendar Christmas. Now, the decor is going up earlier (sometimes before Thanksgiving) and coming down right after the new year. Increased commercialization and downplaying of the prior appreciation is at play. RT’s homepage has no mention of today’s holiday.

The same terrorists the Americans funded and armed for decades. Then of course, one of these same ragged guerillas, who had not revisited Saudi Arabia in decades, masterminded the hijacking of 2 aeroplanes, almost entirely made-up of Saudis, from the safety of his cave somewhere in the mountains of central Asia.
This operation of several dozen people, none of whom even came from Afghanistan, of course justified the invasion of an impoverished Islamic hermit-kingdom that had already been torn apart by war for 2 decades, costing billions, and possibly even over a trillion, of dollars. All ending with ‘negotiations’ (really, capitulation) leaving most of the country controlled by the exact same organisation it ostensibly came to destroy (the only explanation that makes sense to me is a revival the opium trade to destabilise Iranian society, but that’s probably giving Americ*ns too much credit).
Yeah, and Bin Laden was expertly captured, without a single casualty, on live-streamed video straight to the President, but without a single victory-photo, and his body dumped in the Indian ocean. Yeah… right. I’m disappointed people here can still be so gullible.
I might be a delusional contrarian, but I actually see a bit a hope in Qanon. Retarded as it was, I feel like it was partly a product of its time: a half-formed, superficial, new quasi-religion. It’s perhaps too much to hope for, to get something with a sensible foundation now. But maybe, in a few decades. I think harder times will produce something with better legs.
To me, it revealed the future-potential of women to adhere to a fundamentalist, tribal religion about children. Imagine if it were about their own children – pro-natalist, then it would completely turn the tables, within a few decades. It would be a kind of anti-feminism.
Some say that above politics, we should concentrate on creating some kind of payment platform, an organization of lawyers, or group recreational activities.
I guess a secret society would have to be very subtle due to the threat of infiltration and doxing, but I really wish that one existed to train people ritualistically to respond to “You are not racist, are you?” Right now, too many people who are otherwise right-thinking engage in the rhetoric of the enemy too easily.
Maybe right-wingers need to think about creating new forms of organization and community (secret societies?), instead of putting all their hopes in parties and politicians who are bound to disappoint.
The Cultural Revolution in the West that began in the late 60s arguably succeeded because the cultural revolutionaries did not put much faith in politicians or political parties. Very very few of their victories were won directly through the ballot box. Maybe there’s a lesson that. You don’t need to win elections in order to gain political power and win political victories.
I might be a delusional contrarian, but I actually see a bit a hope in Qanon. Retarded as it was, I feel like it was partly a product of its time: a half-formed, superficial, new quasi-religion.
The people intuitively understand that their elites are evil. But they do not have the language to articulate why that is the case. Hence, Satanist pedophiles, which most everyone can agree is bad.

This a very good point. What is the Qanonism? Imo it could have started as a prank that was picked up by some operatives who decided to keep it going, fending off copy cats and maintaining a narrow framework to string along people by giving them hope and not offering anything tangible and what probably was more important by keeping them away from constructive populist ideas. Here is a part of what I wrote on March 9.
Here is an example (2016 NPR story) of a real case of fake news generator who apparently was doing it for money by attracting people to his websites (which I doubt is the whole truth) who found that people on the right (alt-right) were particularly easy to fool (which again is not the whole truth as the ones on the left are easy to full as well, vide Jussie Smollett) but the story comes from NPR:
The phenomenon of the Qanon (or much more crude Benjamin Fulford) preys on people’s need for a hope (the true meaning of ‘hope dies last’) so they keep stringing people along that there is some Good Guys Faction in the Deep State that is putting a fight on people’s behalf though you can’t see any tangible effects of the fight only because everything is so 3D or even 6D – a kind of bizarro world for conspiracy nuts where everything is inverted – it is good if it is bad…
So Qanon could have been an operation as described in the NPR story.
This is a common symptom of religious people: mixing together causally unrelated topics, to create story that has the ability to provide them emotional satisfaction, but which is “co-incidentally” in line with their other subjective opinions. Another common symptom of religious people- to talk in a millenarian way about the “hard times”.

She voluntarily chose to do something physically and legally dangerous, and so the result (to be shot by a security guard) is more like something that child could have predicted, rather than having the sense of a lightening bolt thrown from Zeus.
How we view and interpret reality is a result of our past actions and experiences, its very simple, how the past has conditionalised us determines how we find patterns in reality and what meaning we give to different phenomena we perceive – this is Karma – the law of Action and Effect in the being’s stream of consciousness.
IMO it was an operation somewhere in the vicinity of Breitbart/Mossad circles to manufacture Trump’s support among the masses. The basic idea of the psy-op was that there are some patriotic military people in Pentagon who together with Trump are preparing a counteraction against the Satanic pedophile mafia, Hillary Clinton and Democrats and the fact that there was no sign of it was explained that it was a 6D chess game that has its own peculiar bizarro world rule: the worse it looks the better it is going to be. This was all that the poor Trump supporters needed to get. Everything else was created by their imaginative minds. Why Israel wanted to create the illusion that Trump had a support? I think it was for Trump benefit so he could be stringed along in doing more errands for Israel. And at the same time the psy-op had to be strictly limited to the fantasy realm keeping all tangible and constructive populists idea away form people’s minds.
The question is whether Trump did everything Israel wanted. Was bombing Iran a part of Israel’s expectations? If so, why Trump did not do it? Is it possible that the Deep Sate full spectrum attack against Trump was to weaken him to the point that he could not do anything and an attack on Iran in particular.
Bin Laden operation was expertly planned. Timing wise. (What was true about it is completely different issue.)
April 4, 2011 – Obama announces 2012 reelection bid
April 27, 2011 – Obama releases original long-form birth certificate
April 30, 2011 – WH Correspondents Dinner (action to get Osama already in progress)
May 2, 2011 – Osama bin Laden killed (everybody forgets about the long-form birth certificate)
It was April of 2011. For weeks, Donald Trump had been fanning the flames of the “birther” movement and attacking President Barack Obama on television — demanding that Obama produce his birth certificate, implying that he was not born in the United States, and questioning both his religious identity and the legality of his presidency.
But on April 30, the tables were turned. Trump was the recipient of President Obama’s jokes at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner
Trump never forgot the ridicule and humiliation he suffered at that dinner.
One should take look at various birthers activist and how many had connections with Israel. Breitbart? Who does remember Orly Taitz? BTW, when Sidney Powell made her appearance in Trump circles recently I thought of Orly Taitz. Very similar demeanor, limited intelligence and similar chutzpah driven MO coming straight from the B-movie script of Zionist operation on very low budget.
America has a not mild problem of police brutality (not only in a few famous cases like murder of George Floyd, but rather such kind of things likely are happening thousands of times every year). It’s difficult to condone the kind of police violence often shown in videos from America.*
But if we were choosing situations in which police use of lethal force could be justified, then to defend the parliament building is one of the more pragmatically (although not necessarily morally) justifiable ones, as defending such buildings could possibly increase a country’s political stability.
Politicians can be unlikeable and incompetent on personal basis, but to secure their offices probably has additional value for a country of promoting political stability.
We can look at example of Armenia, when the parliament building was invaded and consequently politicians were assassinated in 1999. As a country, Armenia has been in decline for two decades, and during their military loss to Azerbaijan a couple months ago, there were commentators were claiming that they never recovered from the parliament shootings.
Political stability is one of the more useful things for citizens, above the policies of the politicians themselves. With the mismanagement of the coronavirus in Russia, everyone can and should lose a personal illusion that Putin or United Russia are particularly competent. But would it be desirable to allow people to run around in the parliament (even if they were not planning to kill the politicians inside, i.e. more like Armenia in 2020, than Armenia in 1999)? No, because the great benefit of Putin for Russia, is not his individual policies, but the increase in political stability he has brought of the last two decades, and this include the image and symbolism of political stability.
That’s not to say that America is at equivalent risk of political instability, or that allowing protesters to run around inside the parliament building is going to have so serious effects on it. Maybe they should allow citizens to do it, like that we saw in Erevan a couple months ago, where the worst result was that Pashinyan’s bottle of perfume was stolen. Still, perhaps the next time, the protesters come with a gun, and kill the politicians they dislike, which could probably contribute to real lowering of America’s political stability.
–
E.g. in an unlikely situation anyone hasn’t seen such genre of videos;
It’s difficult to condone the kind of police violence often shown in videos from America.
But they condone it all the time. Try Sailer and his commentariat. His recent Taki’s article on crime stats Sailer ends with the following paragraph:
https://www.takimag.com/article/killer-stats/
In contrast, The Washington Post’s police shootings database reports that 994 people were shot and killed by cops last year, with 27 percent of them being black. Fourteen were unarmed blacks.
World is changing (and staying the same), as was known since Heraclitus . Only an idiot (or omniscient god) could claim to know who will benefit from it.
Neither do internet commentators know about “karma” of people they read briefly in a news article, that they only read about for the first time yesterday, and certainly not by linking together of different journalistic stories.
Maybe, if you read some 300 page biography of a person, which was accessing reliable sources and providing balanced coverage of them, then you can start to understand meaningfully about their background, motives and lifesituation. For example, I’ve read a few such kind of hyper detailed biographies about certain people, where you learn more about them than you can possibly want to know. I’ve read three detailed biographies of Beethoven, a biography of Puccini, two biographies of Marx, two biographies of Nietzsche – but even after spending hours of your life reading about their life, you do not feel like you can say whether Puccini was a good soul, or what would be the “karma” of Nietzsche.
Nice touches: Samuel L. Jackson brings a nice touch of diversity to the role of the Green-obsessed oligarch attempting to save the world by killing most of humanity, and uses free SIM cards in the ubiquitous mobile phones to get the proles to do the dirty work themselves. Much more interesting than the mass poisoning vaccination pogroms programmes our boring white oligarchs are attempting to inflict on us.
succession of dialectic cycles … Western Civilization
It’s enjoyable to write about “historical cycles” and “Western civilization”, but it is the same as when we were children waving plastic objects, saying “this is a dragon”, “this is a soldier”.
This is like reading of tea leaves and faces in clouds . Real “processes” which cause shapes we perceive, we do not understand, and are likely less interesting from our personal perspective than what our imagination produces.
That’s not to say, that imaginative games are unhealthy or unproductive. Even eccentric theories that were popular century ago with people like Blavatskaia, became important inspiration of artists like Kandinsky i.e. it can have aesthetic and emotional value.
Problem of this kind of play is only when we pretend we are somehow nowadays above our childhood level, and that we are “talking seriously” about “important world events”. In this way, adults talking about politics sound often more confused , than when we were still children playing with our plastic toys.
Ashli Babbitt is a great example of how it works, her mindset can be inferred from her social networking
All we know, is a superficial thing about a fashionable online ideology or conspiracy theory she has consumed.
This is like inferring about the souls of people who buy a certain Ponzi scheme, or that were fans of Justin Bieber.
Ponzi scheme/conspiracy theories, can be like filters that could disproportionately attract people of a certain “consumer profile” that are emotionally satisfied in some way by its properties (i.e. gullible people, teenage girls, etc), but that doesn’t tell us about these peoples’ “karmic status”. If you don’t know that person well, then we are just trying to connect journalistic stories when we make such claims.
these two good American citizens
Or they might be bad Americans – do you know these people you read about in articles in the newspaper, but which have never met? It’s connecting ideas or cliches together, rather than first person experience .
This is what the newstream converts us as consumers into: conglomerators of uninteresting cliches, that imagine ourselves to be “analysts”.
previous reply- you have the brains and the youth
If we can believe such studies, on average, when you’re at 60 years old, that you should start feeling more comfortable about life .
Well “people like you” and “normally prosper”, is not so useful, anymore than this generalistic diagram of happiness and age correlations I posted above. ^
Brave New World. People like you should normally prosper in the New Normal.
What are the main effects of history on your life, compared to what would be 20 years past? It’s not related to any news stories about American partisan politics and other irrelevant topics, that is sold to us for clickbait. Rather likely the main difference for most of us, is that we are more hours “wasting time” on the internet.
But even such a thing, can be either or both positive or negative, depending on what technologies are chosen.
For example, YouTube is such a “dual” example, where it contains both possibility of “time wasting”, but also of the opposite. For every “degradation” of media (e.g. Justin Bieber videos), there is an “elevation” of media like “walking videos” that are without commentary, you can play on your television and provide more objective and intelligent media than was available in the 20th century. E.g. if we want to see more intelligent reporting on Brazil – it’s the one without commentary: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ElNLiRGIm1o.

That is an awesome hat.
Also, when is a good time to add ‘digging a tunnel to Mexico’ to your list of hobbies?
Yep. There will be blood.
Is Putin behind this?
Seems like they are recycling the script to what happened in Germany in August.
Fuentes is certainly a delicious threat.
So you’re trying to get your nephew killed because you have a political difference with him. You think that’s a free action?
Yeah this is the Civil War. Try rounding up an army losers.
The goobermint divided the people into two camps.
Eventually they were gonna fight.
Divide and conquer doesn’t work for FAILED STATES.
An Angry Giant just woke up today.
Its tired of being attacked and name called by its moral inferiors.
Civil War II just went hot.
The Zion pigs better make beelines for the nearest airports.
Probably it’s just the beginning. Normally they would want to make an example out of this situation.
They have provoked the American conservatives and populists year after year. Now that this provocation succeeded, they should use it to destroy them.
Now they have the perfect justification to do just that.
Something like this is said to have happened last night, BLM beat up a old woman, bloodied her face (they like to do both to the elderly…), the pro-Trump types asked the police to arrest the assailant and they all got pepper sprayed for their temerity. Here’s one account of it and the aftermath, albeit from an unreliable source.
Will Beijing Biden live up to the moniker?

Mongrels are chimping out. Many such cases lately. I mean, who wouldn’t protest for I Wanka and her genius husband?
Soo, should we start betting on the final casualty count?
It is more of a provocation to stifle any potential dissent after Biden/Harris coming to power. It might indeed end up with a violent confrontation though. Especially now that the runoffs in Georgia have been brazenly stolen using exactly the same tactics as during the presidential election. Republicans have no more power, and they ain’t going to get it back. It’s game over for them if they accept this.
He bragged about hanging out with ex-Taliban guides in China, bonding over a shared hatred of his own country.
Anatoly:
Whatever analogy that you’re trying to make with your two photos above headlining this post seems weak and below your intellect. What does Ukrainian gripes with Russian intrusions into its internal affairs have to do with Trump supporters protesting the questionable outcome of the last presidential election? Stick with your black/white cameo photos that are really quite stylish and useful.
This is how this Trumpist trash ends, alone and hated by everyone. They made a mistake by trying to prop up an Empire that will eat them later.
You should have winded down the Empire and linked up with conservative countries around the world when you had the chance.

If you have any doubt, you are a Russian troll.
Transcript of my take from Twitter: https://twitter.com/akarlin88/status/1346931979695001602
Ask retarded TrumpTards. They should know.

Plot twist – it was Julia Ioffe all along. She is the secret Russian agent!

Nothing will happen retards.
Exactly. These rightoids have no idea what’s coming for them. The new USSR will be the US. Only this time the new “communism” will be about identity politics, instead about the workers.
Although I think that snitching on your own relative is despicable, at least you might have removed him from a homosexual organisation.
If only this weren’t happening for a retarded cause
What’s the big deal? A few windows got broken? Trespassing? The Soros DAs don’t even prosecute for that anymore. The cops shot an innocent unarmed woman in cold blood to defend a window? They value property over human life. The U.S. Capitol is insured.
Largely agree. My take is that this was used a chip during closed doors negotiations. But these things have a way of getting out of control.
Agree with everything but this:
Unless they find calls to murder on arrested individuals’ social media, it will probably just be trespassing and the like.
Correct but keep in mind Yanukovich’s unpopularity and mass revolt were necessary conditions for these factors to come into play (not you IIRC, but others have a notion that this was simply a Western/oligarch project without much popular input)
True, the unpopularity was necessary. But the unpopularity alone was from enough. Poroshenko had even lower approval rating than Yanukovych.
Yes, it seems that the Swamp Patrol forgot their clubs at home and resorted to the malleable pillow routine. Where’s the tear gas? How about getting though the doors? Were the ticket takers on a coffee break too?
Color revolutions have little to do with popularity of existing government. 3-5% of any population are gullible retards, roughly half lefttards, half righttards. When the bulk of the population is passive, either half with proper financing and arming can take over the country. In the end that passive bulk will bear the consequences, but when they realize that, it’s too late.
Correct, because:
And he was voted out of office, and people understood that he would leave peacefully (he did not arrest Tymoshenko, or Zelensky, didn’t cancel elections, etc.) Everyone understood Yanukovich wasn’t going to go peacefully.
So the recipe for a violent overthrow was:
With respect to the USA now:
So no USA Maidan.
Trump has proven what a weak coward he is. He, McConnel, Pence, Romney, Crenshaw, and the left are all united against his most loyal supporters.
A woman died for him and he was too lazy to even take the short drive to the Capitol.
I think that the dissident right is done with politicians as leaders. They have too much to lose.
Death to America!
Theres no better way for the year to start!
These are elite GRU agents, not ordinary protesters, they have their methods…
https://thumbsnap.com/i/1BeZPaQP.mp4
Jokes/trolling aside, that’s a pretty scummy thing to do, if it happened.
Apparently this woman who was shot in the Capitol has died:
https://twitter.com/MichaelCoudrey/status/1346951033969324038
Trump doesn’t have beard to be dictator, that’s my final take.
Here are some other angles:
https://twitter.com/TaylerUSA/status/1346913549898149888
https://twitter.com/TaylerUSA/status/1346913859102253056
You need to put foreign support in the recipe as well. It was very clear that any overthrow would be considered legitimate by Western countries. That’s big. Then on top of that there was the massive shilling in the media.
The protesters are mostly peaceful, so why are the MSM commentators so angry?
The German event was a micrometer phenomenon of the mildest sort imaginable. No shots were fired. Nobody did anything except being there, so to speak. And nobody was wounded. So – ok – – – – a parallel.
https://youtu.be/Aas_g4SgsAs
Except that socialism/communism and workers rights had much more of a following in its day that homo/globalist identity politics ever will.
If ever we needed a “WTF” tag. What kind of grown man would behave like this guy?
I suppose true parallelism would be if they carried a flag with 48 stars on it, and the media acted scared about it.
Is this why i see complaints around here that even the russian youth are coopted into liberalism and dislike Putin?
Imagine telling someone from 2013 that this is happening and that Trump has been president. They would laugh.
I am pretty sure Reichstag was insured too in 1933.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reichstag_fire
Running this checklist for the Spanish Civil War (1936 just prior) would give:
The key here was the perception that the government would do nothing to enforce the law/stop church burnings, destruction of property and political killings.
https://twitter.com/akarlin88/status/1346961770431328256
No suspense with VP Pence:
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/ErFEEvoXYAMXhyb?format=jpg&name=large
We know he would his best to avoid being linked to today’s events….
LOL
Why just focusing on the deplorables? Why not turning the whole American middle class against itself?
Black against White, liberal against conservative, Republican against Democrats, Feminist against Masculinist, Hetero against LGBTQ …
If the goal is to weaken the middle class, then it is the middle class that you need to fracture into as much irreconcilable factions as possible.
It is not a left vs right situation.
Based.

A sad and futile death. I hope she left no orphaned children behind.
MAGA Viking for the hat.
Hey, don’t kink-shame him!
“This is how this Trumpist trash ends, alone and hated by everyone.”
Alone, with only 74 million companions.
“You should have winded down the Empire”
Go back where you came from and don’t come back until you learn English. On second thought, just stay there.
Why would you want a retarded, door climbing woman to reproduce?
Yes, civil wars are different than overthrows. If you only have some of those ingredients, plus the will to fight, you get a civil war.
Whenever I doubt, things like this assure me that hell exists and is filled with people who treat their family this way.
But we live in degenerate times.
Yeah, that’s about right.

The absolute state of Atlanticist shills
https://i.ibb.co/CKd78T2/16099853842531.jpg
The US capital is pretty well guarded. They aren’t gonna get scared of a mob. Biden and Pence both made politically self-destructive and untenable speeches which won’t be well received by the American public…or anybody else on planet earth.
It’s only a matter of time…Biden and the semites tag a fight with the Russians. Putin has a little more firepower than the average right-winger American.
Events around Maidan were peaceful?
She was not 16. She seemed to be in her 30s. She was a 14 year Air Force veteran from San Diego named Ashley Babbitt. Here is her Twitter page: https://twitter.com/Ashli_Babbitt
She was into the MAGA and Q stuff. Here she is on the right wearing a Q shirt:
https://twitter.com/Ashli_Babbitt/status/1303068347098038273
Maidan was a violent Western-backed insurrection, that sought to impose radical agenda on an unwilling country. President Yanukovich did leave as peacefully as he could however. Didn’t even try to arrest leaders of the rebellion for example.
You are missing his point: “Sow the Wind, and Reap the Whirlwind”.
It is even harder to know what the ultimate consequences might be.
My Advice:
Be wary of both Fear and Anger. To the Dark Side do these lead. (Really: you are easiest to manipulate and deceive when you are angry or afraid. It is impossible to make good decisions when you are in the grip of either emotion.)
For myself, I would like very much for the United States to go back to being a regular country, concerned only with events inside its own borders and allowing the other countries of the world to manage their own affairs.
It was indeed a violent insurrection, a mass revolt of half the country against a deeply unpopular ruler. More of the country supported Maidan (41%) than supported Yanukovich (25%).
Plenty of people were arrested and beaten by the police, but it didn’t work, the mass uprising was too great, the police fractured, the army stayed out, and it became clear that if Yanukovich stayed he would have lost and met Ceausescu’s fate, so he escaped.
She was a 14 year military veteran, married. Media doesn’t say if she had kids:
https://www.kusi.com/kusi-news-confirms-identity-of-woman-shot-and-killed-inside-us-capitol/
Degh Tegh Fateh
They have weapons but no righteous cause
They will, one day.
Don’t be so arrogant।।
https://www.manglacharan.com/post/bhagauti-astotar-translation
Are you Jewish by any chance?
Sensitive, well-attuned people do not engage in sadistic gloating. I am not remotely sympathetic to Trump (I am not an American anyway) but his followers now have a martyr. This was a minor skirmish, but then so was John Brown’s raid on Harper’s Ferry in 1859.
https://twitter.com/dancohen3000/status/1347076676342185984
There were armed police right behind her milling around with the protestors and the guy still shot her.
You’re akin to those bundles of sticks that Abe Lincoln rests his hands on
Sometimes the simplest explanation is just that things really are what they are appear to be.
I’d take any such suggestions as (another, they’re coming in a lot recently) rightoid cope unless any real evidence comes around.
I informed Big Brother that he was keeping a secret notebook.
I informed the Gestapo that he was part of the July Plot.
I informed the OGPU that he was withholding grain.
I informed the Red Guards that he was reading old books.
I informed his local FBI office that he was a seditious threat.
I believe you are right. It is just the beginning.
I read about her on Infowars. See my comment # 121 below. This is a sad and very symbolic story.
You apparently don’t get it.
Rightoids never had power in the first place.
Trump was the closest to that, but they blew it.

I really like how Trump-tard tried to make enemies everywhere, instead of working with others. What a retard!
Yeah, can’t she just be a dog mommy like all the retarded, misshapen antifa?
Was she in Afghanistan or Iraq? War in Afghanistan was just, war in Iraq was an unspeakable crime.
Is it my fault that you seem to be jealous and can’t find anything to be passionate about in life?
And you’ve obviously done extensive research to conclude that this woman was worthless genetic scum, after all, no one of any worth in history has done something risky or foolhardy, all great and worthy specimens have done more noble and constructive things like posting deranged nonsense on unz dot com.
https://twitter.com/27khv/status/1347100093955059715
And you live in Central America. I know where I’d rather be.
No, they are not the old school liberals, rather the identity politics type. The old liberalism is dead.
But just like communists, they claim all those restrictions are necessary in order to stop the enemies of liberalism.
Why, exactly, was the war in Afghanistan just?
How is any of that the US’s problem?
How does any of that give the US, or you personally, the right to interfere in a completely foreign culture and religious world view?
America does not go abroad in search of monsters to destroy. She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all.
John Quincy Adams
She was threatening a peaceful, democratic transition of power.
Afghanistan sheltered and supported terrorists who launched an attack on US soil, killing about three thousand Americans. USA had a right to issue its ultimatum to the Afghan government and to invade if this ultimatum was unfulfilled, as it did.
The occupation was lost but the war was not. All responsible parties were tracked down and killed.
Rats leaving the sinking ship. Did you see this Donald Trump?
https://i.imgur.com/uf0kwAGl.jpg
When Taliban-sheltered Al Queda launched an attack on US soil, the USA was entitled to destroy them all.
You should be ashamed of yourself for being so ill informed.
But denying that planes hit the towers is ridiculous.
https://twitter.com/akarlin88/status/1347194465631555586
It’s also darkly comical how Ashli Babbitt (presumably with approval) retweeted this from Mike Pompeo on 1 January:
https://twitter.com/secpompeo/status/1345014445395877888
Pompeo today:
https://twitter.com/SecPompeo/status/1346958767586488320
The MAGA cult must be one of the dumbest movements in recent history.
You can LOL all you want, but you can’t reply because you can’t come up with a logical rebuttal.
Your star is dimming.
At the instruction and direction of their friends at Langley of course…
https://kersplebedeb.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/binladenfreedomfighter-268×200.jpeg
For example, here is a hilarious in retrospect piece from Slate, “How to rig a (2004) Ukrainian Election.”
https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2004/12/how-to-rig-a-ukrainian-election.html
Your understanding is limited.
The other guy seemed to, but now he’s claiming they were pilotless drones.
The only sane interpretations are that it happened as is widely believed (incompetence at various levels, a security breach) or that it was allowed to happen, like Pearl Harbor. The former is more likely but the latter is possible.
Re: https://www.rt.com/usa/511752-russiagate-democrats-putin-capitol/
The title of the above linked RT article is somewhat inaccurate. No one has said that Putin is actually behind the Capitol Hill demo. Rather, some of the grossly hyped politicos (like Ben Rhodes and Michael McFaul) are saying that it serves his interests. Like Putin spends a good portion of his day on trying to figure out how to screw the US. If anything, it’s the reverse, in the form of neocon/neolib leaning DC establishment types seeking to constantly find a demonic Russian angle to something.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
America turned against its ally Saddam, why does this surprise you?
Nice to see you coming out of the woodwork. Do you also believe it was drones and not real planes, as does the other guy?
I didn’t see a swarm of wild monkeys jumping up and down tables in Wisconsin… yesterday looked like Planet of the Apes.
and then all the commandos died in an aircraft accident later
Obviously a coincidence, this happens all the time anyway (sarc).
The Cultural Revolution in the West that began in the late 60s arguably succeeded because the cultural revolutionaries did not put much faith in politicians or political parties. Very very few of their victories were won directly through the ballot box. Maybe there’s a lesson that. You don’t need to win elections in order to gain political power and win political victories.
https://twitter.com/Indian_Bronson/status/1346943305586642950
The people intuitively understand that their elites are evil. But they do not have the language to articulate why that is the case. Hence, Satanist pedophiles, which most everyone can agree is bad.
This a very good point. What is the Qanonism? Imo it could have started as a prank that was picked up by some operatives who decided to keep it going, fending off copy cats and maintaining a narrow framework to string along people by giving them hope and not offering anything tangible and what probably was more important by keeping them away from constructive populist ideas. Here is a part of what I wrote on March 9.
So Qanon could have been an operation as described in the NPR story.
How we view and interpret reality is a result of our past actions and experiences, its very simple, how the past has conditionalised us determines how we find patterns in reality and what meaning we give to different phenomena we perceive – this is Karma – the law of Action and Effect in the being’s stream of consciousness.
Yes. The guiding light of qanon was that someone in the elite was fighting for them and everything was under control.
For those who have any awareness of the inner workings of the “elite,” it was a tragic if hopeful idea.
Here I have just written a comment on Trump and Israel:
https://www.unz.com/akarlin/trump-god-emperor-of-mankind/#comment-4391937

Perhaps (re) reading this book might help:

But they condone it all the time. Try Sailer and his commentariat. His recent Taki’s article on crime stats Sailer ends with the following paragraph:
A plot so good, someone could make it a movie … wait! What?

Nice touches: Samuel L. Jackson brings a nice touch of diversity to the role of the Green-obsessed oligarch attempting to save the world by killing most of humanity, and uses free SIM cards in the ubiquitous mobile phones to get the proles to do the dirty work themselves. Much more interesting than the mass
poisoningvaccinationpogromsprogrammes our boring white oligarchs are attempting to inflict on us.I am under impression you are able to enjoy a bit of dark humor:

If we can believe such studies, on average, when you’re at 60 years old, that you should start feeling more comfortable about life .

Well “people like you” and “normally prosper”, is not so useful, anymore than this generalistic diagram of happiness and age correlations I posted above. ^
I like reading your comments Dmitry.
