Zach Goldberg, eminent scholar of the Great Awokening, writes:
The percent of black who think they are treated just as well as whites in their communities was lower in 2018 (18.3%) than it was in the year before the passage of the civil rights act (23.5%). Objectively speaking, this can’t be true.
However, as with all political religions, failure to immanentize just means that the faithful weren’t praying hard enough. So double down.
Breaking: Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear (D) just now announced his administration will extend health care coverage to all black residents. He said the impetus was how African Americas die at a rate twice their proportion of the state population. @BLaw

Tragically, this political religion also has an amorphous end. Its aims can never be met, so it won’t easily self-discredit as a route to salvation.
This leaves us to wait in the hope of a rival rising to convert its followers or the arrival of a truly grounded and perspicacious individual who can step up to take that energy and put it towards something useful.
That, or like other similar movements, it discredits itself through oceans of blood followed by long-term institutional stagnation and misery. Obviously, I hope not…
Any thoughts on rival belief sets with pull, on broken people, nowadays?
A few data points between 2001 and 2018 would be helpful.
And I’m no lawyer, but isn’t extending health care to ONLY blacks a blatant violation of the Equal Protection clause of the 14th Ammendment? Not that that makes much of a difference today.
I bet there were less blacks in prison in 1965.
A more pertinent question is ‘How well do blacks behave in your community?’
I’d vote for the Chinese Communist Party before I’d vote for any of the Democrats.
They unironically hate white people less.
“Objectively speaking, this can’t be true. ”
Well, OF COURSE IT CAN. Prior to the passage of laws AIMED at LEGALIZING conflict between Europeans and Africans, there had been 100 YEARS of sorting out the interplay of the 2 races in American society. And so when had lunch with a guy from the office, the question was whether he followed the White Sox or those worthless Cubs from the North Side. There was NOTHING racial about Ernie Banks. He was a guy who played baseball well, and was a nice guy out of uniform. Who in their right mind would want to inject RACE into the discussion?? And there was Hyde Park, where the museum was. Who would even CONSIDER suggesting that Hyde Park was run down (which of course it was NOT; the Obamas live there now…) because it was a majority Black neighborhood. The SLUMS, including the Irish and Italian slums, WERE slums because the people who lived there were poor and didn’t plan on “movin’ on up” any time soon.
Then some idiot named Kennedy gets a bill through Congress essentially LEGALIZING poverty: if you are POOR, The Government will hand you cash money American EVERY SINGLE MONTH for NOT making YOURSELF a desirable “new hire” for a better job. And the money will pour in FOR EVER…
He should have tweeted this instead.
Oh, there they go, being ungrateful again, and still soooo dangerous. And how arrogant of black people to call their movement “Black Lives Matter,” which is actually secret darkiespeak for “only black lives matter (kill whitey!).”
Everyone with half a brain knows that freedom is a zero-sum game, so rare and precious and special that if some people are to get more, other people say goodbye to their little share of it.
Literally, half a brain, that is.
I suppose it is beyond consideration that a large body of their fellow citizens hating them with a hate so rare and true has nothing whatsoever to do with black people feeling like they’re getting the dirty end of the stick. No matter what they achieve, some people here will be calling them monkeys and morons and criminals. Even a certain Harvard Law professor and President of the U.S., which, classwise, makes that individual more white than oh ten or twenty million of the rest of us, is just a ghetto gangbanger to some who take pride in having you-know-what for brains.
Given how the CCP has been paying off Democrats for decades, it may be the same thing.
Are you suggesting that I am kind of stupid because my hair is kind of curly, or that my hair is kind of curly because I am kind of stupid?
An unsuccessfully enquiring mind needs to know!
The completely politically incorrect saying when I was a child was, “Give a n1@@er an inch and he’ll take a mile.” I am so glad history has proofed that adage.
In defense of the poll’s 2018 result, blacks really are not treated the “same as whites” in 2018. Blacks are treated much better.
Black people don’t know how good they have it in America. Try living in a majority black country. Lol
True enough.
But 1965 was the year of the (first) Watts riots, from August 11-16.
In fact:
Round and round we go.
Watts I:

Sure, but how do you compensate for black folk dominating sports teams in the state?
Was it logistically possible to ship the entire population of Africans back to Africa in a short period of time after the Civil War? Considering the technology back then? And that there were 5 million of them?
Not having been alive in the 1950s, I would still venture to guess that black culture at that time was significantly less coarse and more concerned with appearing respectable than today’s.
On a related note, I think a lot of good whites think of the Huxtable family as the typical black household in America. I know I did as a youngster (although I understood most were not doctors, just like most everyone), but got a massive dose of reality when I started going to a public school in a large city. The most vociferously pro-black white people I doubt have a lot of experience of this type and they make sure their kids don’t as well.
By the way, I have a question: how old races are?
This is not one of my chosen fields of interest, but, writing from memory, I think that Caucasians are ca. 40,000 years old (modern whites perhaps 4-5,000), Negroes 12,000 & east Asians ? Australian Abos are perhaps 40,000-50,000, along with some others.
What about American Indians & north and south Hindu Indians?
Can someone set a timetable for probable evolution & emergence of modern, still existing human races?
So then, if some person were to say, “White Lives Matter “, you’d certainly have no problem with that, right? I mean there are actually people out there who call Pale skinned people nasty names like, ‘blue eyed devil ‘or ‘cracker’ or ‘Nazi’. Even a certain graduate of the prestigious Wharton School of Business. Great that we can find common ground.
Why do black people have a natural talent for music compared to Whites and Asians?
Who cares what they think?
That’s the problem. The far right is entirely driven by hatred. It’s not about finding solutions it’s about expressing hatred.
You mean something like this?

This is proof positive that bleks, like chimpanzees, can unconsciously write sentences of truth if given enough digital ink.
ISIS, perhaps?
Guess it all depends on your definition of ‘far right’. Some would say far right means small government, low taxes and strict adherence to the Constitution. Some people need to create a strawman to justify their own hatred. Are the far left communists, looting and destroying, ‘hate filled’? What about the BLM terrorist who killed the 6 cops in Texas? Or the BLM terrorist who killed the two cops in Brooklyn? Or the BLM terrorist who killed the elderly couple in the cemetery?
They’re hate-filled but they aren’t communists.
The problem is that politics today is based largely on hate. No-one is interested in moderate workable solutions. Nobody is interested in the idea of negotiating in good faith in order to reach agreement.
That’s largely because politics as such no longer exists, since the triumph of the Economic Right.
