Open Thread 79

My “fans” at RationalWiki have recently issued an Updated & Expanded edition on me.

Since Google privileges the rantings of a basement troll and Zionist antifa over my Unz column and even my own (eponymous) website, I decided it’s time to compile a formal rebuttal for reference purposes.

Oh, look, Durov has joined the select circle of know-all, which is normally limited to actors and sportspeople! Moreover, he is on the managerial self-punishing path. Perhaps he also sleeps only 4 hours a night, doesn’t smoke nor drink alcohol, and doesn’t ejaculate when he has sex with Stormy.

If self-experiments are now better than RCT, if reality distortion fields are as valuable as introducing videos on MTV, perhaps we need to learn Durov’s opinion on vaccines.

Also, congrats for what amounts to free promotion for Saini’s book. She uses writing as a crouch. Today, she makes more from TV appearances and 2000-word articles in weekly glossy magazines. Tomorrow it’s a government advisor job. Next, a cushy sinecure in an investment bank that wants to impress with its intellectual prowess, or even her own business. Who knows, she may even stand for elections in a Labour safe seat. Boris Johnson, Trump, and that skinny Republican woman have written books for that same purpose. Mentioning such books as if they matters makes these loudmouths more like real authors. Providing links for people to read even one more phrase attached to Saini’s name aggravates it. So sad!

In the same post, I read that the opposition deplatformed you. You are nonpersoned in google searches. Your opposition is successful in its approach. So why not replicate it?

Also, why would even mention a person who wrote “How Indian Science is Taking Over the World”? Isn’t this like taking seriously people who describe their alien abductions?

Finally, if Saini is one of the smartest Indians, what does it mean? IQ 102? I am not done with Kant and Hegel, why would anyone waste their time with a genius of average IQ, regardless of their ideological leanings?

Good piece on Henry Makow of why oily Glenn Greenwald is spreading lies to destroy Brazil’s populist President Jair Bolsonaro, ‘Bolsomito’ apparently doing some good things for the Brazilian people, and fighting Brazil’s corruption complex against savage odds.

For one thing, Bolsonaro’s ‘more guns and tough on crime’ plan, is working:

Sergio Moro, who is now the Attorney General, has achieved excellent results for only a couple of months of work in his position, like a 23% decrease in the number of homicides, and similar drops in cargo theft, robbery, carjacking, etc

Greenwald of course – formerly in the gay pornography biz (‘hairystuds’) – has been sequentially on the payroll of 3 billionaires (Bill Gates, Rothschilds, and now the CIA-tied, internet-propaganda freak Pierre Omidyar, brought in to fund Greenwald’s ‘Edward Snowden’ hoax – At first, Eddie Snowden started his ‘leaking’ to the WashPost biographer of George Bush’s war-monger VP Dick Cheney, but that was so stupid and unbelievable they switched the Snowden game to Greenwald, backed by CIA money-man Omidyar, also involved in dirty business in Ukraine.

Greenwald, in a gay marriage to Brazilian dude David Miranda, and on the leftist payroll in Brazil, can maybe face criminal charges in Brasil, arising out of the hacks and illegal wiretaps of Brazilian politicians.

Curious note in the article, that Vladimir Putin may also be helping in the campaign to undermine Bolsonaro, via hacks of the Russian Telegram messaging system used in Brazil, Putin said to be angry because of Bolsonaro’s opposition to Venezuela’s Maduro & foolishly joining that USA game

Bolsonaro does have his Zionist connections, and shows some bad judgement re Maduro … but it seems to many Brazilians he is fulfilling a fair share of what he promised.

I’m not understanding your so-called ‘rebuttal’, i.e. someone merely only has to click on your Twitter feed to see you’re far-right with recent tweets like this:

    https://twitter.com/akarlin88/status/1141022318875021312

Yet you get into a fit of rage about anyone who simply points out you’re a racist/anti-Semite/far-right etc. The RationalWiki article just records your bizarre racist internet posts: https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Anatoly_Karlin#Views

People with autism ‘have problem with self-awareness’
    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/8407857.stm

“Sophisticated scans showed the brains of people with autism are less active when engaged in self-reflective thought…research has shown the problem is people with the condition have trouble thinking about, and making sense of, themselves.”

  8. Yet another demonstration of how intelligence in its fullest sense is multifaceted and multidimensional, and can never be conclusively measured along a single linear continuum. Your example also points to how an intellectual or psychological strength can also be a weakness– the same audaciousness that leads to developing a new paradigm for whatever (whether trivial or earth-shaking) can also express itself in suicidal recklessness or other forms of self-defeating instability.

I guess everything human is a mixed bag after all.

  9. Yet you get into a fit of rage about anyone who simply points out you’re a racist/anti-Semite/far-right etc.

Your appetite for projection has been long noted.

At a glance, Smith appears to be cut from the same cloth as disgraced Wikipedia editor Ryulong in that he is a frequent editor of the likes of Wikipedia and Rationalwiki; however, whereas Ryulong focuses primarily on specific articles to claim as “his,” Smith instead pursues wholesale retribution against anyone who offends him or disparages him in any capacity. Towards this end, Smith has created literally hundreds of Wikipedia accounts,[Smith’s Wikipedia accounts mostly centered around the prospect of using to attack those who have angered him. He is outright obsessive; once he feels a target is “guilty,” he will not let go of any slight, and he will relentlessly pursue them until they have have recanted anything negative they have said or posted about him, and deleted anything disparaging him.

Northern Italy as a R&D powerhouse is well and truly over. The “blue banana” concept is dead. Innovation in Europe is essentially a Germanic hegemony for all intents and purposes (Franks=Germanic tribe too) with a smattering of leftovers for everyone else.

I would not be surprised that intelligent people, can be more likely to win Darwin awards, than stupid people – as a result of the higher proportion of time a person is daydreaming.

I read somewhere that while the stereotype has a lot to it, stupid people are actually more likely to suffer accidents, probably due to their stupidity. But I can’t remember where I read it. However, what I’ve seen of stupid people in my life, I can easily imagine it to be true.

  17. https://i.redd.it/azzdd19nph331.png

Here’s another ranking – R&D per inhabitant – which matches the previous map quite well. Northern Italy once again falls off. Eastern Europe might as well not exist. Southern Europe is not pulling its weight. It’s all Germanic + Northern Europe now.

Blue Banana is kill. Press F.

  18. The Blue Banana still applies, just without N. Italy.

  19. Interesting that Salzburg Province in Austria, where I lived during my childhood (late 50’s to mid-60’s) has become the most technologically innovative region within that small nation. During my time there, it was heavily agricultural from its lowland northwest to very mountainous south, with a few small industrial towns, but nothing of seeming significance. I wonder what might have caused the change in the meantime– that change is nothing that I would have suspected, given the Salzburgerland’s earlier reliance on farming and tourism for the Schillings and then Euros. It would also be interesting to know whether other regions within Europe have undergone similar changes— maybe there’s a series of maps out there somewhere that portrays sequential transformations in the various regions’ economic bases.

Coincidentally, Peter Hitchens also recently reviewed ‘his’ RationalWiki page, too. He already had a pretty good idea what they thought of him, so he claims to have found it amusing:

    https://hitchensblog.mailonsunday.co.uk/2019/06/seeing-myself-as-others-see-me-my-enjoyable-entry-on-rational-wiki-.html

At any rate, he prefers it to ‘his’ page on Wikipedia, which he finds far more damaging for its insidiousness. RationalWiki, OTOH, is just laughably biased.

  23. “When the US army started recruiting more stupid people into their ranks during Vietnam, they found that their rate of accidents was much higher.”

I think the OP may still have a point in the following sense: I would bet that it is harder to get smarter people (relatively speaking) to change their minds in the face of incontrovertible evidence to the contrary because they are better at rationalizing away discrepancies; this might explain why otherwise intelligent people come to believe nonsensical – potentially counterproductive – things (ex: mass immigration “good” –> increases the country’s carbon footprint, exacerbates homelessness crisis in California … “How did that happen? Must be those pesky right-wingers in West Virginia”). Maybe this could also lead to accidents, or at least to those people advocating dangerous things for themselves and others.

  27. for-the-record says

Coincidentally, Peter Hitchens also recently reviewed ‘his’ RationalWiki page, too.

In the column you referenced, he also refers to the IMDb page with his personal quotes. I particularly liked the following, and I imagine I am not the only one here to feel similarly:

If I never again had to read or write a word about homosexuals, I would be very happy. I really don’t want to know what other people do in their bedrooms. But these days they really, really want us all to know. And, more important, they insist that we approve.

Nazi Law for the Prevention of Progeny with Hereditary Diseases used IQ testing to determine whether an individual had “feeble-mindedness” that resulted in selecting candidates for sterilisation.

Nazis used IQ tests for sterilisation and Carl bizarrely claims “Nazis were critical of intelligence research.”

The unsealing of an application for a search warrant by the federal government on 8chan’s servers has unintentionally revealed that a federal agent has been trolling the site and attempting to redirect the users’ conspiracy theories against the Russian government instead of the CIA or Mossad.

Karlin has claimed his article contains “libel, lies and misrepresentations”, but none exist.

It’s funny that this guy goes around calling me an SJW (I’m not) when he is a crybaby with a victim-playing complex typically found among SJWs. If you exclude their political differences, the alt-right and SJWs are very similar in terms of psychology and behaviour.

  35. I like Italians, but all my (limited) dealings with their companies/banks have involved too much bureaucracy, long delays, poor English language support.

Stark contrast even to, say, Estonia.

It seems that they just cannot compete in the new digitized sectors of the economy.

PS. I believe that Italy is one of only two countries where GDP per capita (PPP) in 2005 dollars is lower than in 2000. (The other is Greece).

  36. Well, there was significant Frankish settlement in Northern France and Norse settlement in Normandy. Though according to those maps Germanic descent is inversely correlated with R&D in France. I guess the Germans weren’t sending their best.

  37. Of the 32 players involved over the course of the game, by my count 29 were white.

    Were Polacks white back then?

Did you assign Clemente as white?

  38. Swarthy Greek says

That’s a myth. If you are referring to the settlement of the Normans there were probably a few hundred Vikings at most, mostly male, that settled along with Rollo and quickly intermarried with the local Gallo Romans. Franks also assimilated quickly, they constituted a ruling class which quickly adopted the local culture and lost its Germanic identity and blood through intermarriage. The closest comparison to the Franks would be the Varangians. The only traditional “Germanic “ areas in France are Alsace, French Flanders ( in Nord pas de Calais) as well as small parts of Lorraine.

  39. Limited list of factual (as opposed to interpretative) inaccuracies in that article, and that’s after that Zionist antifa character (what a zoo you have there) whom ODS doxxed rewrote it to be marginally less calumnious towards me:

*”This is despite the fact he has no children of his own and is probably an incel.”

A photo of the author might be timely at this point.

    https://images.encyclopediadramatica.rs/8/83/OliverSmith03.jpg

The fact that ODS actually does live in his parents’ basement and has a documented fetish in Lara Croft nude mods may also be a relevant thing to bring up, given his penchant for projection.

  40. Oliver D. Smith says

Mr. Karlin, is he an incel? I described Karlin as likely an incel, similar to all the other alt-right natalist “have many white babies” (or in Karlin’s case Russian babies) weirdos who bang on about “traditional families” and increasing fertility rates, but have zero children of their own and his response was this:

That said, I do support natalism within Russia because I want to see more Russians, and because population is power.

I am currently 30 yrs old, so your personal criticism will only become valid in another decade.

    https://twitter.com/akarlin88/status/1140675561037148160

Why is it all these weirdos I’ve written about at RationalWiki who promote a pro-natalist message , have no children of their own? Mark Collett is another example:

    https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Mark_Collett#The_Fall_of_Western_Man

    Millenial Woes, another (age mid-30s):

    https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Millennial_Woes

    https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Michael_Coombs

    Even alt-right women:

    https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Tara_McCarthy#Fearmongering_over_white_birth.2Ffertility_rates

McCarthy of course has zero children.

    Another:

Who else sees a pattern here?

Sex havers like to denigrate everyone who doesn’t share their juvenile obsession as “incel,” but they forget about volcels. And there is nothing wrong with being volcel masterrace. AK is no different from Newton, Kant, Copernicus, Nietzsche and many other great men of history whose work demanded full and undivided attention (IIRC it was forbidden for faculty at Cambridge in Newton’s time to marry; maybe Ron Unz should consider implementing a similar policy for his contributors?)

  42. ODS seems to have the rather strange idea that the choice is either incelhood or banging out baby after baby.

I daresay such a projection is more typical of actual incels.

    Speaking of which: https://emilkirkegaard.dk/en/?page_id=7034

Oliver has a particular interest in matters related to sex, especially pedophilia. Oliver himself claims to be voluntarily asexual/demisexual (and other obscure adjectives) and regards human procreation as immoral (i.e., anti-natalism), as he considers all sex to be perverted despite having a history of interest in naked Tomb Raider models (he occasionally uses usernames based on this interest).

  46. AnotherSerrice says

I think I’ve figured it out thanks to Anatoly’s insightful comment into your sexual history:

‘Genetics aside, since we have no idea what his parents look like (thankfully), my preliminary theory is that all the time spent by Oliver pickletickling himself to images of naked Lara Croft resulted in profoundly low testosterone production – and therefore, the aforementioned perfect ellipse.

Testosterone levels during teenage years are extremely important in the development of a good facial (and musculoskeletal) structure. It is also important for the development of a healthy sexuality, unsurprisingly.

Most likely, Oliver is simply a heterosexual, but through years of self-abuse has lowered his libido to such a point that he can convince himself of his own asexuality.’

Nonetheless, there is still time to recover (at least somewhat) my good man. I would suggest T supplements much like sportsmen over the age of 50 take, and hitting the gym is essential too of course.

Given that I have been so generous with my analysis and advice, could you please create a digital scan of your ellipsoid head at the nearest printshop and mail it to me posthaste.

    All the best,

  47. Kent Nationalist says

Viking settlement was significant in certain parts of Normandy like the Cotentin pensinula. Things like place names and (according to old books) skull shapes are quite different there, suggesting much more extensive settlement than a few hundred.

In the East of Gaul, the line of German-speaking advanced significantly during Frankish colonisation.

  48. Oliver D. Smith says

I already rebutted some of those points e.g.

    1. You’ve not provided definite proof you have any peer-reviewed articles; I cannot find much information about the journal you posted and it’s in Russian. It’s unclear if it’s a legitimate scientific journal or not, although it could be (I didn’t deny this.) But your credibility is undermined by the fact you said you are publishing in a pseudojournal: https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Psych_(journal) If you’re going to claim your publications in race and IQ pseudojournals are peer-reviewed, then this makes creationists publishing in creationist pseudojournals peer-reviewed. Pretty much any pseudoscience cult or belief can then set up their own journal, get some people who share the same beliefs to review submissions. See here: https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Pseudojournal
    2. “claims to have studied Political Economy at UC Berkeley” – what’s wrong with this? You posted you have studied there, at best could quibble to replace “claim” with another word.

    3. “has a fixation with penis-sizes” – this is a tongue in cheek comment about your support for Lynn’s & Rushton’s dubious and falsified data on race and penis-size, primarily based on a website hoax. Data I should point out that some “race realists” are even rejecting and pointing out is total BS. See: http://racehist.blogspot.com/2015/05/racial-and-ethnic-variation-in-penis.html One would have ask why you are a proponent of the “big black dick hoax”, Mr. Karlin? Is it because your own is very small and you have a fantasy of huge black genitals?

    4. ““He is a member and supporter of the Russian ultra-nationalist Liberal Democratic Party of Russia” — I pointed out to make a small change, but it was denied and another RationalWiki sysop posted this: “supporter & voter is essentially synonymous with member”. So what’s the problem here? It’s obviously a very minor disagreement.

Most your points are nitpicking at trivial things like 2 & 4. I find all this amusing since you run across the web writing countless misinformation and lies about me. I rarely respond telling you to correct or remove them. You seem to be simply someone with issues who cannot accept being criticised on the internet.

I don’t have any interest or fetish in naked Lara Croft, sorry to disappoint.

The source for that lulzy misinformation was originated by some trolls on Encyclopedia Dramatica.

As with most things on ED, there’s like 1% of truth in what they say, 99% distortion.

The 1% of truth in that story is I downloaded a mod of “naked” Lara Croft nearly 20 years ago (the quote source is all the way back from 2006 talking about 2000, when I was 9-10 years old). I highlight “naked” because she was not fully naked, but in a bikini like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFKvcOpHhB8 (of course this is the most recent game, I did it for Tomb Raider 2, 1997 and the graphics were far more basic back then).

I should point out I’ve downloaded more than 100 mods for different TR games. Only one was in a bikini, and I haven’t re-downloaded it since 2000, nor anything else like that. Instead I download funny ones such as Winston the Butler https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxYQbrR6wCE

Laughably, from the above I’m described by some people from OpenPsych and VDARE as a “lover of Tomb raider porn”, “sexual deviant” or “hypersexual”. No one who repeats this nonsense actually ever bothers to even read the source.

Identified with nationalist politics during my early teens. I supported the National Democrats until they basically became defunct, and then since about 18 (i’m now 22) have supported the British National Party.

I believe in economic nationalism (protectionism), withdrawing our troops from illegal wars which have nothing to do with Britain (Afghanistan etc), bringing back capital punishment, leaving the EU and ending mass immigration.

Blog post on the BNP’s website (!): http://archive.li/r30pV

Our goal was to overtake the hits on Wikipedia’s entry on the British National Party. The Wikipedia entry is leftist orientated and smears the BNP, while the people who patrol it are heavily biased (affiliated with “Unite Against Fascism” and so on).
Our factual, positive, entry on the British National Party we are very pleased to say is generating loads of hits, extra traffic to the British National Party site and so forth.

He now strenuously denies ever having been involved (including to me on Twitter), despite the evidence being available on multiple archiving platforms.

As I said, the Far Right does not attract very high human capital, unfortunately.

  64. fetish in naked Lara Croft,

Someone needs to explain to me what is wrong with fetish in naked Lara Croft mods? How is that even described as “fetish” anyway?

  66. Well I don’t care to “kink shame” (as the SJWs call it), but (1) it’s not something that he cares to do from his soiled basement sofa, and (2) wouldn’t you agree that claims he makes about other people’s sex lives need to take his own rather unusual “interests” into account? – especially considering his well-documented penchant for projection.

The source for you being a member of the LDPR is where you say ” LDPR is my party”. You can hardly criticise people for thinking you are a member. Like I said, you don’t have any actual valid criticisms of your RW article that is accurate. Your main hatred of that article is it exposes you as a far-right anti-Semitic nutjob, when you’re suddenly trying to pretend to “enter academia” and you realise no one will take you seriously reading it.

  70. Yes those are the kind of views I read somewhere, probably here. People saying that countries with bad driving, are a sign of stupider people.

Still, I would not be sure against a correlation between intelligence and Darwin awards.

I read on the website of Princeton Center of Advanced Study, about a famous computer science

He was also well known as a reckless driver, once emerging, so the story goes, from a smashed car with the explanation: “I was proceeding down the road. The trees on the right were passing me in orderly fashion at 60 MPH. Suddenly, one of them stepped out in my path. Boom!”

    https://www.ias.edu/von-neumann

  71. Oliver D. Smith says

Yes he’s making money for writing anti-Semitic, racist and race pseudoscience content.

I’m not sure why you think that is an accomplishment. This website itself is widely considered alt-right and anti-Semitic to the extent moderate conservative news sources have described it as a “dumping ground for anti-Semitic nonsense”. It’s also owned by a Holocaust denier; so even if Karlin wasn’t writing racist and anti-Semitic things here (he is though), it would be a very bad association to be a blog columnist.

If Mr. Karlin was serious about “entering academia” then he should leave this website immediately. Secondly, distance himself to what he has been posting here for years, repudiate and denounce all his old posts etc and give up the racist pseudoscience, also apologise for any offensive, racist or derogatory statements he has made etc. Do all that and I would have respect for the guy.

  72. Surely, this website is one of the stupidest websites on the internet, which just adds to the miracle of finding such an entertaining forum as this.

To quote my excellent earlier comment on this:

It’s funny though. It’s like being lost in the worse part of the city, where only failures, mentally ill and drunks which do not wash themselves live. But then somehow walked into a secret cafe, and find clean tables, and mostly civilized people discussing topics like Greek philosophy.

    Moreover,

And then Karlin is interesting and has a good sense of humour. In addition, Karlin interacts with us in a fair way, which is not true for any other kind of journalist (where can you discuss article they write with the author? I never had this experience until I commented here.).

and there’s almost no censorship (unless for Gerard).

Also, as a side note, I view it as a huge victory for the hereditarian position when you acknowledged that anyone who argues that average racial IQ gaps (or at least the Black-White average IQ gap in the US) have a genetic basis to them of 49% or less is not a genuine hereditarian. That means that one should be able to argue that up to half of these gaps has a genetic basis to them without being shamed, vilified, or ridiculed, wouldn’t you agree?

In addition, as a side note, I don’t see why exactly hereditarians have to accept Arthur Jensen’s hypothesis of a 50+% genetic basis to the gap in average IQ between US Whites and US Blacks in order for them to actually be considered hereditarians. However, I nevertheless see value in you acknowledging that arguing in favor of some genetic basis to this gap should not get one into trouble.

Anatoly Karlin believes the myth that black African men have larger penis size than whites, Indians or Asians. It is a false myth not supported by medical journals. They have done penis size surveys on men in Africa, they were 5.2 inches erect, no longer than any other race.

A 2005 study reported that “there is no scientific background to support the alleged ‘oversized’ penis in black people”.

The ED article bizarrely claims “I believe Atlantis was real” despite the fact I published a peer-reviewed article in 2016 arguing it is fiction: http://shimajournal.org/issues/v10n2/d.-Smith-Shima-v10n2.pdf Yet I’ve counted at least 5 times on multiple websites (Twitter, Reddit, Unz) where you’ve incorrectly described me as a “Atlantis conspiracy theorist”. I never joined any of the various right/far-right political parties I supported from 2006-2013, quite simply because I disagreed with them on many things, most notably as I noted the pro-natalist policies.

  88. A video this week titled

CIVIL WAR 2 in America – WHO WOULD WIN? In-Depth Analysis

by someone going by John Mark, has been a surprise hit. It reached 600,000 views before its ten-day mark (posted June 8, 2019) and has 21k likes to 2k dislikes.

John Mark is a popularizer of the theories of Curt Doolittle — the latter associated with the Alt-Right and an advocate of something called Propertarianism, and as good a candidate to fill in the archetypal role of (the long-posited-to-inevitably-emerge-about-now) “Middle American Radical” as I’ve ever seen.

The civil war scenario as presented by John Mark gives an overall big advantage to what he calls the Grassroots Right and more-or-less depicts the US federal government (presented as a dispossession agent of the American nation) as a giant with feet of clay in any such scenario.

Regardless of what one thinks of the analysis, that this video by a relatively little-known Youtuber racked up so many views can only be significant. I don’t know how long the video will survive, but here it is:

You’re being pretty uncharitable to many of unz’s other contributors. AE, Sailor, and Derb all produce solid content (some more regularly than others).

And with all due respect to our gracious host, you’re also overstating the consistency of Anatoly. Most stuff is great, but once in a while there is something like his post on “animal uplift” which is most certainly one of the dumbest and most literally insane takes ever published on this site (and I include the comments in this). There’s also the strangely unresolved imbalance in his beliefs in both post-human futurism and Christian mysticism. I’m interested in both too, but I regard Christian theology and the sacred mystery of faith as metaphysical spiritual truths, and a human-technological singularity as a loosely-plausible nightmare scenario possibly correspondent to the anti-Christ’s rule over the nations of man. My views are self-consistent, whereas, at least in my view, Anatoly’s idea of a singularity as something to aspire to is completely incompatible with any plausible interpretation of the Christian faith.

Surely you regard the idea that God destroys those nations that abandon faith as completely in line with the stereotypically stupid content of the unz review? (I personally doubt God’s judgment is so immediate and literal, but I’m somewhat sympathetic to the concept). There’s also his periodic prodding of the mentally ill british shut in who was too unbalanced to be allowed to edit wikipedia. I enjoy everything Karlin writes, but he’s certainly far from the completely sober and “academic” style techno-geopolitical pundit you make him out to be. I think he fits in just fine here.

  90. Oliver D. Smith says

No I don’t agree with that. Sorry.

See my response on this subject to Noah Carl:

    https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Noah_Carl_Controversy:_FAQ_(rebuttal)#But_aren.E2.80.99t_all_the_reviewers_at_OpenPsych_.E2.80.9Chereditarians.E2.80.9D.3F

The minimum cut-off for hereditarianism is obviously not 50% despite Arthur Jensen popularised that figure, he elsewhere was more vague:

Carl uses a straw man argument often used by proponents of hereditarianism that redefines the term to mean “genes explain >0% of group differences in intelligence”. This was never how the hereditarianism hypothesis was defined by Arthur Jensen, who instead defined hereditarianism as the view genes explain >50-80% of group differences in intelligence, although elsewhere he defined it more vaguely as the view “genetic factors are strongly implicated in the average Negro-white intelligence difference” or “a substantial part of group differences in human behavioural traits is genetic”. While this leaves the question of what cut-off percentage of genes “substantial” or “strongly implicated” means, perhaps as low as 25% or even 10%, someone who argues genes explain a mere 0.1% of group differences in intelligence can hardly be described as a hereditarian since 0.1% is not at all substantial, although Carl would like to redefine hereditarianism to include psychologists who favour the view genes are negligibly involved in explaining the black-white IQ gap (0.1% genes, 99.9% environment). The problem with this redefinition is proponents of the latter view do not consider themselves hereditarians and hereditarianism since Jensen (1969) has always meant the view genes are substantially, not negligibly involved in explaining group differences in intelligence. Therefore when Carl says hereditarianism is not an “unreasonable scientific position” he needs to be more specific with what percentage of genes he has in mind.

I personally would put the cut-off at 12.5%. That figure is apparently found in Loehlin et al. 1975 as an estimation for the heritability of the black-white IQ gap. Do I agree with this personally, no – I’d argue it’s a lot lower (1-3%), but Loehlin et al present themselves as anti-Jensen/anti-hereditarians. My main objection is Carl’s straw man minimum cut-off for hereditarianism = 0.1%. Karlin and many other HBDers use same fallacy.

  91. I started to watch this last week but turned it off when he said 30% of the American population would actively join an anti-government rebellion. I’ll give it another go though as it’s an interesting subject.

Looking over his other videos I notice one from four months ago with “Civil War” in the title has 212k views. Another one also with “Civil War” has 44k. Most of the others though get between around 10k and 25k views.

  93. Oliver D. Smith says

My posts criticising you as a likely incel are based on your claims Russians need to increase TFR/you are pro-natalist when you have zero children of your own. Similarly, alt-right social media personalities in general promote a pro-natalist message, almost dogmatically, but have no children of their own. To quote Mark Collett (one of the most popular alt-righters on YouTube): “the future of the Western man lay in their [women’s] wombs” yet he has no children, at 38.

We both know, Karlin you will one day be 38 years old like Collett and still have no children. All I’m doing is pointing out your hypocrisy.

Why not just adopt an anti-natalist message if you have zero children, and are not likely to? Most of the alt-righters lifestyles do not even suit having children at all.

After all, just because Whites currently have higher phenotypic average IQs than Blacks have does not necessarily mean that Whites are the ones who have a higher genotypic average IQ in comparison to Blacks.

My position is they don’t exist, but that is often misunderstood as saying I don’t believe in populations. Obviously that’s nonsense e.g. Richard Lewontin doesn’t think human races exist, but is a population geneticist. “Race realists” are notorious for making straw man arguments.

Here’s a rebuttal to Emil Kirkegaard’s malicious lies and misleading claims about me in that quote:

Oliver has a particular interest in matters related to sex, especially pedophilia.

I don’t have any particularly interest in this at all. Furthermore, the latter claim is psychological projection since Kirkegaard has written entire blog posts and essays on the topic. I never have done and wouldn’t dedicate my time like him to writing something about this sort of thing on my blog.

A lengthy blog post Kirkegaard wrote as recent as March 2019 on this unsavoury topic:

    https://emilkirkegaard.dk/en/?p=7736
    Oddly deleted, but here’s a screenshot: http://archive.is/wbUeB

Someone indeed has a “particular interest” in this, but it certainly isn’t me.

Oliver himself claims to be voluntarily asexual/demisexual (and other obscure adjectives)

This misleading claim/half-truth he’s posted all over the internet for years. I’ve never claimed to be asexual, but once said “hetero-demisexual” which is distinct to asexualism (and I clearly said hetero[sexual]); furthermore, I posted this years back in a now deleted comment and I always clarified I wasn’t asexual. This is further proven by the fact asexuality and demisexuality are separately listed in a 2011 survey by AVEN. I always tick “heterosexual” on census forms and no longer bother to use the term “demisexual”.

and regards human procreation as immoral (i.e., anti-natalism)

I’m not at all into philosophical antinatalism, I’m an antinatalist only in the sense of ecological arguments i.e. the argument to desist from bringing into existence (new) humans that cause vast amounts of harm to the environment including other animals (including humans themselves). Some philosophical antinatalists who I’ve met on the antinatalist Facebook groups don’t consider ecological antinatalists to be real antinatalists, so I more often use the term “voluntarily childfree”. I’m also not a crazy vegan antinatalist type, but a pescatarian.

as he considers all sex to be perverted

Nowhere have I ever said this, something Kirkegaard made up or copied from Encyclopedia Dramatica trolls.

despite having a history of interest in naked Tomb Raider models (he occasionally uses usernames based on this interest).

See post #60 where I refuted this nonsense (again copied from ED trolls).

  123. for writing anti-Semitic

Give me an example of AK’s anti-Semitic writing?

  124. “You all act like Aspergers obsessively debating this nonsense that nobody else cares about. Race does not exist. We all bleed red.”

Agree with the first part, sorta. But whether or not you want to admit it, race plays a critical role in any diverse society, so it’s not surprising to me that some spend their time studying the issue. Anyone who disagrees is welcome to study geopolitics for a moment. Just checking foreign news sources is enough; the JP, for instance, for years has carried a guy who obsesses over the number of Jews in the US congress and the polling favorability of his tribal group in the US. That’s a very minor example among thousands of more serious ones that I could give: China runs “reeducation centers” for huge scores of ethnic minorities. I’m not going to fault the right for doing what the left does all the time: obsess over every perceived tribal slight and conspiracy theory imaginable (stereotype threat, white guilt, mansplaining, toxic masculinity, the patriarchy, etc.).

Considering the United States has an entire segment of society that has obsessed – with tacit permission from the elite – over race issues for decades, it’s not surprising to me that others would follow suit. I think the problem here is that many simply don’t like Karlin’s conclusions because they certainly don’t seem to have a problem talking about racial issues themselves. You may claim that race doesn’t exist, but that is irrelevant considering the number of people who think it does; that’s all that matters in the end. From what little I’ve seen, Rationalwiki seems to be engaging in an elaborate form of gatekeeping/virtue signalling whereby you hypocritically tell white Europeans they can’t think and say the things (or behave in the way) that other groups do all the time.

“obsessively debating this nonsense that nobody else cares about”

It’s apparent to me looking at American society from afar that Americans care very deeply about race. Nearly every subject from movie roles to corporate hiring practices to election year voting is deeply infused with the subject; it’s inescapable – toxic even. Demographics alone are enough to determine to a fair degree of accuracy who’ll win elections perhaps up to 80 or 90% of the time. It’s quite astounding, really. I honestly don’t see how someone can say otherwise given the preponderance of evidence at hand. The question isn’t whether Americans care about race or not (they do), but whether certain groups are allowed to talk about it.

“That’s all he talks about on Twitter”

How long does it take to retweet something on Twitter, though? A second or two? I think you’re taking things a bit out of context here. Similarly, I wouldn’t be surprised to find a historian who mostly retweets history subjects. That’s not necessarily evidence of an obsession. In fact, many of world’s greatest thinkers were quite obsessive about one thing are another. That’s what set them apart from the rest of us in the first place.

This would’ve associated Weimar with national success, or at least neutral from a national point of view, where changing the borders would certainly not have been seen as worth a war, so extreme nationalism would have gotten very little if any traction. Whereas in real history, Weimar was only associated with national humiliation.

I usually thought that the optimal history would have been Hitler dying in 1938 right after Munich, with risk-averse successors. That way we’d have an explicitly racialist major power, and competition with it would have been good for citizens of the competing powers, the same way competition with the Soviets proved beneficial for citizens of NATO countries.

As a rule, steel and forex were the limiting factors, and hence swung conservative; chemistry and engineering were convinced that all could be achieved with enough budget, will, and steel. But it wasn’t their job to find the steel or the sterling, so their ambitions ballooned to deranged proportions. By the Munich crisis in 1938, Germany was nearly bankrupt – after a summer of currency crisis, the Reichsbank was able to get away a succession of huge bond issues in the relief afterglow, but ran into a wall when the market refused the fourth loan.

  134. Kent Nationalist says

I don’t think the rise of National Socialism had that much to do with the territorial annexations specifically. The Sudetenland in particular was not a very important issue, even less so than Poland as you can see in the reaction in Germany to the Munich crisis.
Even the National Socialist government did not do anything about territorial boundaries until 1938 anyway and I don’t think that led to problems with their activists.

An update on Russian sanctions against the Ukraine:
    https://www.argusmedia.com/en/news/1923605-russian-shipments-to-ukraine-fall

Deliveries of Russian coal to Ukraine will fall sharply this month after Moscow implemented new regulations. Under new regulations companies must obtain permits from Russia’s economic development ministry to export to Ukraine.

Some suppliers say state-run Russian Railways (RZD) has approved a minimal volume of coal for delivery to Ukraine this month.

“RZD only sanctioned 12,000t of our 200,000t export application for Ukraine this month, but there is still no authorisation from Russian customs even for this small volume,” a source at a Russian producer says.

Limited Russian coking coal supply could boost opportunities for US suppliers to sell more material into Ukraine. But Ukrainian consumers have only limited scope to fully replace Russian anthracite and metallurgical coal with seaborne deliveries from elsewhere, because of a lack of capacity at the country’s ports.

But to take the question about living space, I wonder if Hitler could have been bought off, by some move like turning South Africa into a co-prosperity sphere. Germany had, after all, lost its African colonies, so it may have been a major face-saving move.

There was an anti-Semitic article published: “It’s Time to Drop the Jew Taboo” and Karlin wrote a defence of that article, writing it is “objectively true”. http://www.unz.com/akarlin/russia-insider-names-the-jew/ He posted that only 1 year ago. There’s also tuns of anti-Semitism in his other comments here, Reddit, Twitter. I don’t need to spend time compiling them as anyone can click his accounts on various websites and find them; he seems totally Jew-obsessed and discusses Jews a lot. It’s therefore funny he dug up my old support for the ‘far-right’ 7 years or so back, yet I virtually never posted about Jews. The “jooz” obsessed weirdos in the far-right was something I always criticised, even when I was loosely past involved with the ‘far-right’.

Furthermore from what I’ve read his Russian nationalism is also openly anti-Semitic, since he rejects Zionists, for example writing in his essay Russian Nationalism 101 Alexey Navalny isn’t a Russian nationalist since he wants “to make Russia into a ZOG colony” and is a philo-Semite. He also appears to outright reject Jews and many other ethnicities from Russian nationalism. Post #3 on how he defines Russian identity:

    * Ancestral homeland in Russia
    * Orthodox heritage
    * Slavic ancestry
    * Knowledge of Russian language
    * Last and least, RF passport

The guy is literally a hardcore ethno-nationalist who also posts extremely crude racism:

“I am quite happy that few Blacks associate with Russia, considering the type of violence-ridden underclasses they tend to create in countries that open their doors to them. Not to mention the extreme chutzpah and aggressive sense of racial grievance they tend to act out towards their host countries. So yes, I’m racist and very happy with that. If /r/europe SJWs or Islamists such as yourself have a problem with that, oh well. Don’t care, really.”

He has lowbrow racist beliefs typical of Stormfront posters.

I therefore found it amusing he was calling Stormfront users “low IQ racists” and calling himself instead a “race realist”, when he’s pretty much indistinguishable to them.

No I’ve never been a liberal.

However, I noticed Karlin said he “came out” as a “race realist” in 2012, when that is the same year I became sceptical of the existence of human races, the following year I “came out” as a so-called race denialist. I was then invited to write the racialism article(s) on RationalWiki and have debated “race realists” since then on various blogs and forums, including debating Sean Last from The Right Stuff and John Fuerst of OpenPsych. So my position on the race realism thing – I’ve basically had the opposite history of Karlin.

I should though point out, that pre-2013 even when I was a “race realist” (although I never liked that term) I rejected the IQ stuff as pseudoscience. I was never into the J. P Rushton/Richard Lynn type hereditarianism, but Carleton S. Coon/Earnest Hooton physical anthropology race stuff. Hence many years back I was on anthro-forums. All they needed to do was somewhat scale back the armaments program, from 20% of national income in 1938 to, say, 15% or at worst 10%. (The latter would still have been incredibly high.)

It must be noted that several people didn’t agree with that assessment. For example Hjalmar Schacht in the summer of 1939 told people in London that, while in Germany he himself keeps making the argument that “things can’t go on like this, the Reich is just about to default in a few months,” in reality, things could just go on like that infinitely. Basically the Reichsbank kept micromanaging import licences, so even though their foreign exchange reserves never were higher than one month (and quite often just two weeks or less) worth of imports, they never actually risked default: they had enough reserves of anything truly essential (like oil, coal, food, etc.), and they could always just deny a few import licences to nonessential imports (or even essential imports, because they had enough physical reserves of those), so they could always keep default a couple weeks away.

Schacht didn’t like this kind of economic management, but he certainly understood that it could go on forever, or at least for a decade or more. It was still way less centralized than the USSR economic management, after all, which certainly managed to survive several decades like that. (Including the enormous military expenditure.)

  156. reiner Tor says

National Socialism didn’t rise because of a demand for territorial annexations, but it’s almost a certainty that its rise was greatly helped by the fact that Weimar (and the political left and center, i.e. the “Weimar coalition”) was associated with national humiliation.

But would it have been such a humiliation, if, after the lost war, Germany would’ve actually become bigger than it had been before the war?

  157. reiner Tor says

Or if a non-Hitler leader of Nazi Germany would’ve started a war over those demands.

  158. Oliver D. Smith says

I’ll probably upload my CV to Academia within a couple of weeks.

I’ve had more jobs/employment/work experience (i.e. working as a digital archivist, in museum collections management and a freelance bookbinder) than the trolls who go around claiming I’m an unemployed basement dweller.

I’ve explained why I’m currently out of work since I’m a postgraduate student. I know very few people who take Master’s degrees while in full-time employment.

As for any unemployment benefits, I’ve only claimed this since last year, while I’m still studying; and I claim the extreme minimum amount which will probably end next year.

  159. reiner Tor says

In other words, the Conservative Party is leadership race-ist.

  160. pretty uncharitable to many of unz’s other

My experience of other forums here -was 99% mentally ill people and 1% normal people (maybe it is only 80% to 20% – but the sensation is the same).

Here it seems like at least 30% normal (although eccentric) people, which is not too bad.

Sure, many people are rude and a bit stupid, but somehow the discussions here never disappoints and is usually interesting and entertains all sides .

This on the normal threads, not the promoted ones when there is often a flood of 99% crazy people from the other forums of this site (e.g. YouTube censorship thread a few weeks ago).

his post on “animal uplift” which is most certainly one of the dumbest and most literally insane takes ever published on this site

I think it is good he opens more interesting threads like that one.

Rather than too many boring stories about Julian Assange (not sure how anyone is not bored about this)

but he’s certainly far from the completely sober and “academic” style techno-geopolitical pundit you make him out to be. I think he fits in just fine here.

I wrote thousands of comments here. I was censored I think one time (when I explained that Julian Assange was expensive for Ecuador).

AK: I don’t recall censoring you over that (or any other thing).

So this is pretty excellent treatment overall. Whether Karlin is sober or not, is not really the point. He doesn’t have “authoritarian personality disorder”, so overall it feels quite free here (although since German Reader left, probably the balance of conversation is deteriorating).

  161. reiner Tor says

Who is “the TDS guy?” Why is he important? Should I know or read him?

  162. Lol but you support British National Party, which Wikipedia describes as “fascist”.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_National_Party

Anyway, Karlin is obviously, far from the image you wrote for Rational Wiki, which seems more like it’s designed to stop people from shaking his hand, or to get him sent back at the Israeli airport.

Karlin was promoting voting for Zhirinovsky in Russia. Zhirinovsky is of Jewish origin, and more since around 10 years ago, Zhirinovsky became quite pro-Jewish and pro-Israel (part of Zhirinovsky’s family live in Israel). So any person who is antisemitic, would be quite stupid to promote voting for him.

Moreover, Karlin is covering up for Putin a little too much (Putin is a very anti-racist politician, very philosemitic, etc).

And then in America, Karlin was promoting voting for Andrew Yang – who is a liberal/leftwing politician of Chinese origin, that represents the Democrat Party.

Overall – not very fascist at all.

  163. He seems even a bit reasonable and normal, talking to him on here … but

Regardless of what one thinks of the analysis, that this video by a relatively little-known Youtuber racked up so many views can only be significant.

  166. Oliver D. Smith says

No, I obviously don’t support the BNP.

Here’s some of the RationalWiki article I wrote years back:
    https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/British_National_Party

Obviously extremely critical. I’ve rejected ‘far-right’ parties like this for a long time and am a staunch critic of them. Trolls who run around the internet quote-mining my former support for parties like this and right-wing populist parties (and notice how they cherry-pick the BNP and ignore many others like Veritas, UKIP and English Democrats) ignore the past 6 or so years where I’ve repudiated parties like this. I also wrote the extremely critical UKIP article:
    https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/United_Kingdom_Independence_Party

I’m also not ashamed or embarrassed about my ‘far-right’ past at all, since it dates back before I even finished university and was young and I just let the dates speak for themselves. Also, anyone can read my old posts to see I supported very few BNP/’far-right’ policies and disagreed with a lot these parties stood for. I named like 3 or 4 party policies in the BNP 2012 post, Karlin quoted – which are actually all fairly moderate:

I believe in economic nationalism (protectionism), withdrawing our troops from illegal wars which have nothing to do with Britain (Afghanistan etc), bringing back capital punishment, leaving the EU and ending mass immigration.

Does that sound like fascism? lol. Notice how I said I didn’t believe in ethnic nationalism at that time, but only economic i.e. protectionism. I’ve never believed in the silly idea of an ethno-state. But I’m not bothered by trolls distorting about what I formerly believed many years back, since I don’t hold those beliefs now. So feel free to call me a ‘fascist’.

Yet he denies being alt-right. Hilarious.

  170. You forgot the part where the more intellectual type shows a chart imagined by Emil Kierkegaard or some marginal Jew. At that time, everyone agrees CRISPR will extend your IQ and your life expectancy until it catches up with that impressively long dick.

And then we’re back to bashing gays, or women, or blacks, because “pope Kirill said so”. Or to a rightist critique of the latest GoT episode.

  171. Kent Nationalist says

And then we’re back to bashing gays, or women, or blacks, because “pope Kirill said so”.

AK doesn’t even criticise blacks very much, but I think the fact they murder and rape tens of thousands of white people every year is reason enough. Homos abuse children. Women abort their babies.

  172. Don’t be stupid. Karlin is not responsible for the content of the comments. He is allowing even your comments, even though you have been a dick, towards him personally, more than Himmler was.

Also, that Venn diagram doesn’t seem right. No, I am not saying it isn’t true. Obviously, everything you draw in MS Paint is true, and could be used against your enemies. But it is generally the rule that CIA volunteers, the sort of fanbois who preach CIA-friendly values out of passion, design better visuals than niggerglows who can’t wait for 5 PM. Are we to understand you are not a volunteer any longer?

  173. Oliver D. Smith says

    It’s trolling.

There’s various bizarre and comical ‘shit-posts’ about me across the internet variously claiming I’m schizophrenic, satanist, have been in and out of psychiatric hospitals, have violently attacked people and so on. None of this is obviously true, but I sometimes poke fun at these preposterous claims by going along with them, never seriously e.g. http://archive.is/eiCS3

Evil misanthrope asexual antinatalist satanist with schizophrenia. Also suffering from manic depression and anger management issues. In 2017 I was discharged as a mental patient from Nightingale Hospital London. My schizophrenic delusions at the time were my parents are not really human, but robots.

As someone recently wrote after reading this: “I mean if you are really bored you could smoke something psychoactive and imagine that this is not a joke.”

But there are some like Emil Kirkegaard who dug up some of these old shit-posts to maliciously attack me with, wildly quoting them out of context to claim “I confessed to schizophrenia” and now run across the internet defaming me as a literal schizophrenic.

  174. Not only do Buryats have high IQs

Unfortunately I not found data. The Mongols in the MPR average IQ of about 97

the greatest patriots and warriors. What a combo!

well, if you look at the whole history of Russia among all ethnic groups Russian Germans and Karelians have the highest index of patriotism

So from this point of view, choice is something like this:

    https://c.radikal.ru/c12/1906/66/0495b2ec57ba.jpg

    https://b.radikal.ru/b33/1906/62/1ec807768178.jpg

But this is the wrong approach. A genuine IQ fan should look at IQ. In Russia, do not measure IQ, but there is a sure way – a suitable girl must have a certificate of participation (and better about winning) in the contest of nerds (“intellectual Olympiad among schoolchildren”). Participation in the competition nerds guarantee IQ higher than 110, victory – IQ higher than 130.

This is the main thing in the girl – certificate:

    https://a.radikal.ru/a01/1906/d5/d55b151470bd.jpg

If a girl makes you an offer of marriage, the first thing ask – if she has a certificate from the nerds competition

  175. Oliver D. Smith says

Not sure what you’re talking about.

    Karlin himself wrote this:

I am quite happy that few Blacks associate with Russia, considering the type of violence-ridden underclasses they tend to create in countries that open their doors to them. Not to mention the extreme chutzpah and aggressive sense of racial grievance they tend to act out towards their host countries. So yes, I’m racist and very happy with that. If /r/europe SJWs or Islamists such as yourself have a problem with that, oh well. Don’t care, really

    https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Anatoly_Karlin#Racism_and_Islamophobia

Had he been living in UK when he posted this, he could be reported for inciting racial hatred. When I was formerly ‘far-right’ many years ago I never posted anything as obscene and explicitly racist as this and I never even talked about not wanting black people in my country. It’s lowbrow Daily Stormer/Stormfront type crude racist material and shows he has an extreme hatred for black people.

    • you can read much faster than listen to people talking; it’s a waste of time

    • you have been complaining about the stupid things they say since… forever, so it’s not even very high quality probably; it’s an even bigger waste of time

“According to a study by Richard Lynn, ethnic Mongol children in northern China had 5 points higher visiospatial IQ, but 10 points lower verbal IQ than the Han Chinese children. This makes Mongols possibly the most “visiospatial intelligence” oriented race. East Asians are already known for having the highest visiospatial scores, but Mongols seem to take that further.”

Those blonds you posted are attractive. But let’s be HBD realistic here. With white women you run a considerably higher risk of infidelity and a higher risk of divorce. And they age faster and have less agreeable dispositions.

  212. Woke Force vs. Incels

    https://twitter.com/jaredbkeller/status/1141708062627176448

At least one Air Force base is on the lookout for a sinister new threat: angry men who can’t get laid.

Personnel at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland were recently treated to a threat brief regarding an “increase in nationwide activity” by self-described “incels,” members of an online subculture of “involuntary celibacy” who adopt an ideology of misogyny, mistrust of women, and violence in response to their failed attempts at romantic relationships.

The brief was first made public via a screenshot posted to the popular Air Force amn/nco/snco Facebook page on Tuesday. An Air Force spokesman confirmed the authenticity of the screenshot to Task & Purpose.

“The screenshot was taken from a Joint Base Andrews Intel brief created following basic threat analysis on an increase in nationwide activity by the group,” 11th Wing spokesman Aletha Frost told Task & Purpose in an email.

Indeed, the screenshot appeared the day after Brian Isaac Clyde, a former Army infantryman who frequently posted memes that referenced the incel movement alongside anti-government conspiracies to his Facebook page, was shot by federal officers after he opened fire outside a Dallas, Texas federal building.

The screenshot features a reproduction of an internet meme popular among incels known as “Becky vs. Stacy.” A derivative of the ‘Virgin Walk’ or ‘Virgin vs. Chad’ meme that contrasts awkward virgin incels against an imaginary hyper-masculine bro known as Chad, the Becky vs. Stacy meme purportedly reflects how incels judge women based solely on their physical features.

Incels believe “they are owned attention from ‘Beckys,'” the Joint Base Andrews brief reads. “Most Incels believe only men can be Incels as women could engage in sexual activity if they wanted to.”

According to the Dallas Morning News, one of the many incel memes Clyde shared included one he referring to “virgin shooting” vs. a “Chad rampage” — yet another derivative of the ‘Virgin Walk’ meme featured in the Joint Base Andrews brief.

    https://maoistrebelnews.com/2018/07/24/on-the-new-undesirables-of-the-west/

Some are “NEETS”, middle and high school dropouts, generally physically or psychologically disabled, dependant either on poverty wage jobs, or welfare. Some are FOREVER ALONE or INCELS, – unattractive, physically disabled, or deformed people – generally, but not limited to men, incapable of forming romantic or sexual relations, or in many cases even friendships – most of them suffer from severe mental illness, depression, suicidal tendencies, etc. Large elements of indigenous communities, migrant/refugee labourers, the physically and mentally disabled/ill, drug addicts, and the homeless can be lumped into this makeshift “caste” of social undesirables. While many of these groups may have been classified by Marxist-Leninists and Maoists as a part of the Lumpenproletariat, this classification has limited scientific use in regards to understanding this umbrella caste.

The bonding factor between all of these groups is that they exist – both economically and socially, in precarious conditions. They have no real social base and are alienated from any kind of community, or social circles. They are generally miserable – depressed, angry. They are desperate for answers, disillusioned with Capitalism and Rainbow Empire, and are open to radicalization in a way that most people in the first world are not. They are, in a real sense, a part of the growing revolutionary subject within the west today.

  217. Why isn’t some old maid flattered by that some guy thought of her in sexual way??

    1. That isn’t sexual harassment.
    2. How do you know we’re talking about “old maids.”

I suppose one feature of drone warfare that I have not heard commented upon before is that shooting one down is an escalatory step, but a long way below blowing up a manned vehicle.

  219. Kent Nationalist says

I doubt it. Because of the way modern sexual selection works, incel men in general tend to be more conflict-avoidant and atomised and less risk-taking/impulsive than average. Hardly the sort of people who make good revolutionaries (although I’m sure we’ll continue to see these anti-woman rage shootings occasionally). As the latest AE post showed, Asians are far more likely to be incels yet seem disproportionately (especially given their IQ) uninvolved in radical politics).
It doesn’t help that their ‘ideology’ and discourse, insofar as they have one, is truly repulsive to normal people. I also think that both men and women have a natural revulsion to such low-status men.

I am talking about the sort of ‘incels’ who post online, the lumpenproles he mentioned have never been very useful for anything.

85 IQ for an iSteve reader is too low; even the average commenters on e.g. a popular YouTube video would be in the low 90s, and Steve’s readers are certainly more intelligent than that.

iSteve is basically a message board for elderly Reagan Republicans who’ve embraced overt racism and anti-Semitism. Their solution to every problem is that we should go back to the way things were in the 1950s, or start a civil war, or something equally absurd and impractical. Just a bunch of cranky old men impotently complaining about things while they wait to die.

Well, the individual differences in the volume of the skull between people are much greater than the differences in the average volume of the skull of Europeans and Mongols.

This is a more reliable way – if a girl offers you her hand and heart, immediately measure the volume of her skull. This has extra bonus – if after that she does not send you to fuck himself, then this is true love

Do you have some evidence that either Joshua John Leff or Ross Anthony Farca are “followers” of, say, Richard Spencer or Vox Day? A cursory internet search turns up nothing.

People who hate homosexuals fall generally to three groups – Christians, Muslims and alt-right. This guy is not Muslim, is not taking about Jesus and Bible (and Christian fundamantalists are generally nonviolent (in this and last century)), he is clearly alt-right.

  237. reiner Tor says

For perfect eugenics, you should arrange your children’s marriages, too. Best to always carry the cranial measurement equipment with you, in case you notice a seemingly sufficiently large skull, then you can quickly measure on the spot. If good enough, you should then ask the person to introduce you to its parents and grandparents (perhaps other family members, too), so that you could measure them as well. After that, all you need to do is introduce the young people to each other, and hope that they fall in love. Or at least obey your commands.

This sounds like an efficient and practical personal eugenics guide for advancement.

  238. Point? This discussion and this thread have no point anymore, except showing how the alt right is winning all over the world.

How do we know? Are you saying you have no diagnosis of mental illness? Have you ever seen a psychiatrist for evaluation? Or just self-diagnosis? If so, post the report so we can see it’s clean (no diagnoses). That way, they can’t easily contradict you.

There are plenty of smart people commenting there; but Sailer is more into American internal politics and similar issues (like the general culture war, immigration, even immigration into places like France), and his blog was the first place where I read about what he then called “World War T,” the transgender insanity.

I’m not sure he’s extremely smart (I’d guess he’s certainly above 115), but I don’t think his audience is two SDs below his level. Some commenters seem to be as smart as he is, or smarter. There are plenty of smart comments, though of course, idiots get to comment there, too. Just as they do elsewhere, like here, lol.

I think Sailer personally approves all comments because he wants the vast majority of comments to be about the blog post and not responding to each other, and it takes a long time before the comments are approved, so the discussion is less lively, and more responding to the blog post itself. However, probably it’s not very conscious (he just feels that it’s better to pre-moderate comments), so it doesn’t always work out perfectly.

This is one of the unexpected drawbacks of robot warfare. 😉
The word “drone” helps this attitude, because the general public imagines some cheap toy bought in Walmart, and even Americans might balk about starting war over it.
The thing that was shot down was, more precisely, an unmanned airplane, $200 million apiece.

LOL that’s really funny. Nothing to back that up. Steve himself majored in economics history and management from Rice University, and later got an MBA from UCLA in finance and marketing. This is all from his wiki.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Sailer Probably above 120.
85 is the IQ of groids. We are not groids. UTU is speaking for himself when he says that. I’d say the IQ of the readers is slightly above the average range, maybe 105-106. No way we are THAT low on the spectrum. I won’t speak for others but I’ve done that WAIS, and mine is 124. And I’m one of the dumber ones there.

  248. Actually, the consensus is that Steve is a 100-IQ blogger catering to an 85 IQ audience.

Remember that Steve knows little to nothing about science and mathematics, and is not curious enough to rectify his gaps. He has no idea about what the difference is between ‘pico’, ‘nano’, ‘giga’, and ‘tera’, and does not know the distance between the Earth and the Sun within an order of magnitude. Most STEM-oriented 8th graders know better.

In addition, a large portion of Steve’s posts are really just gossip glorified as something more.

Ron Unz has an IQ of 124. That is pretty high, but a typo back in the day got this posted as ‘214’, which is obviously not correct (again, a typo).
